“Mayday is an emergency procedure word used internationally as a distress signal in voice-procedure radio communications,” says Wikipedia.
May first is “May Day” – which has long held a different meaning for socialists, communists, capitalists and Christians. “Mayday, Mayday” is a decades-old distress call for pilots and sailors.
First, as the 4.30.2020 MHProNews market focus segment indicated, different parts of the country and different locations are seeing sometimes dramatically different results in “traffic” – the term often used by sellers to indicate the numbers of customers coming in, calling, messaging or visiting websites. Traffic is the prelude to the sales activity that follows qualified retail buyer interest.
That term “qualified” has experienced a dramatic shift in roughly 6-7 weeks, because over 30 million have been thrown from work. The New York Times says this morning that the true total of unemployed could be millions higher, as state agencies are having difficulties with the sheer volume of claims.
Next, there is a self-evident need for a job – steady income – required by lenders in order to “qualify” to buy a home, or for that matter a car or other big ticket item. As MHProNews recently reported, manufactured home industry lenders are concerned with competing tensions and troubling signs that they are seeing. Large numbers of looming defaults are expected by 21st Mortgage and Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance (VMF), per sources. Then there are those prospects who may want affordable manufactured home but don’t have the income to support it now, even though they did just 2 months ago.
Third, MHProNews has been informed by an executive-level source in the small business lending community that huge numbers of applicants to the Small Business Administration (SBA) Paycheck Protection Plan (PPP) loan program have routinely bottle-necked the federal servers handling the loan applications. Roughly 1/3rd of the latest traunch of federal funding for the program is already committed, said that executive. Yet, tens of thousands of completed and ‘ready to go’ applications may never reach the SBA before the money once more runs out.
If so, that means that significant numbers of smaller businesses won’t survive. As various Trump Administration officials and small business advocates have been saying for weeks, about half of the nation’s workers are employed by smaller businesses. Just 2 months ago, there were some 6 plus million job openings. That was pushing competition for labor up, causing the most significant wage gains in years.
All that is now gone. Some companies that have retained workers have kept wages the same, others have raised them – in a Buffettesque “moat” building move – while some firms felt they had no choice but to cut pay in order to survive. But an all too common response has been to lay workers off. With shops and offices closed, what other choices are there for those without the deepest of pockets?

When several data points like those above and what follows are compared and an objective analysis is added, a reasonable conclusion is that some of what’s coming out of Washington, D.C. amounts to cheerleading and happy talk. Here’s an example.
The Internal Monetary Fund (IMF) is projecting a global contraction and that will be followed for some nations with a sharp rebound. That might sound like some of what Federal Reserve Chairmen Jerome Powell or various Trump Administration surrogates and officials are saying. But the reality is that per the IMF, it is China that is projected to be the bigger rebound.
If that is true, that’s arguably cause for alarm in several ways. A segue to some military, geopolitical and then economic activity are useful to understand the concerns and what this means to most Americans.
- Chinese officials have been reportedly rounding up dissidents and protesters in Hong Kong and elsewhere.
- In the South China Sea, there have been brushes between Chinese naval and air forces, the U.S. and vessels of other nations.
- Russian “Spetsnaz” have just concluded a dramatic high-altitude parachute drop inside the Article Circle. It’s designed to show how adept the Russian version of U.S. special forces can be.
- Not to be overlooked are the mostly bothersome small Iranian vessels that look like speedboats with machine guns and light armaments operating in the Persian Gulf. President Trump recently issues a publicized order for our nation’s military to sink those boats if they harass U.S. naval vessels again. The significance of that threat has more to do with China, say military experts, then it does Iran. Stop and ponder that, as it relates to what follows.
Put differently, Beijing leaders that allowed the COVID19 virus to spread throughout the world are flexing military, spy network and economic muscles. China’s control over much of the medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other necessary items have been used as a threat to those who don’t comply with Beijing’s wishes. Another threat is their giving their own “citizens” health safety codes on their widely used smartphones. Per Time Magazine, “People with red or yellow codes “are definitely not running around outside.” In China, if you don’t have a green code, going to work is not possible.
There are those here in the U.S. who are talking about “immunity passports” – that’s hardly Constitutional. But much of what has been occurring in various states during “lockdowns” are arguably unconstitutional. Growing protests in different states illustrate the point that American citizens understandably are fearful of an unsustainable closure, even if they are also concerned about the health risks of going outside their homes.
When President Trump spoke to the media yesterday, some of what’s said is thinly veiled diplomatic language. Part of the more detailed report last night included this unique ODNI-issued this press notice to MHProNews.

Intelligence Community Statement on Origins of COVID-19
“The entire Intelligence Community has been consistently providing critical support to U.S. policymakers and those responding to the COVID-19 virus, which originated in China. The Intelligence Community also concurs with the wide scientific consensus that the COVID-19 virus was not manmade or genetically modified.
“As we do in all crises, the Community’s experts respond by surging resources and producing critical intelligence on issues vital to U.S. national security. The IC will continue to rigorously examine emerging information and intelligence to determine whether the outbreak began through contact with infected animals or if it was the result of an accident at a laboratory in Wuhan.”

To be blunt, that’s quite unusual. Keep in mind, as MHProNews previously reported, that while ABC News and others reported that U.S. intelligence learned about the viral outbreak as early as late November, 2019, official sources denied that report. For those who observe and ponder the details, the deniers in the intelligence community are beginning to contradict themselves.
Some of that ODNI statement – the implied weaponization aspect – might be accurate, or it also might be part of a diplomatic veil. One must bear in mind the obvious, that public officials lie to their own people. China knows the origins of this virus. Taiwan warned about it being capable of human-to-human transmission in December 2019 in a communique to the World Health Organization (WHO). WHO dismissed that concern, and then parroted the Chinese Communist Party line.
It was researchers in England who said that had China warned the world three weeks earlier, some 95 percent of this contagion could have been avoided.
That logical point could be pressed further still, because if there was knowledge – as reports from various sources indicate – that the contagion was active in late November 2019 in Wuhan, then the time to have shut the border to China should have been then – if American leaders knew about it.
But during that timeframe, Democrats in the House and later the Senate were busy trying to impeach President Trump in an effort that failed along largely party line voting. As the nation was transfixed by that artificial political theater which had an entirely predictable outcome, a “Crimson Contagion” was on the loose.
Multiple pandemic outbreak exercises – not unlike a military war game, only viral epidemic focused – have been undertaken in recent years to prevent exactly what occurred in the U.S. and other nations. Beyond the Crimson Contagion reported to Congress in early 2019 and found linked in the report above, here in America, the Gates Foundation sponsored “Event 201.” Here is what the Center for Health Security said about that in a nutshell, “The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation hosted Event 201, a high-level pandemic exercise on October 18, 2019, in New York, NY. The exercise illustrated areas where public/private partnerships will be necessary during the response to a severe pandemic in order to diminish large-scale economic and societal consequences.”
It is entirely possible that certain members of the U.S. intelligence, health-safety and the Gates Foundation – among a fairly limited group of others – knew what occurred in China weeks before President Trump was informed. If so, the blood, health, and trillions of dollars in collective economic harm done in the U.S. is logically on those hands.
But there is more.
There has been months of discussions swirling around the notion of if this Wuhan Virus was a biological warfare test that escaped the top-security BL4 level lab known as the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). But that debate over if this was a bio-engineered weapon or not misses the main point.
Either way, when Communist Chinese Party (CCP) leaders restricted travel within China from the Wuhan region – to slow or stop the spread of the contagion – while allowing flights to all other parts of the world make it clear that a decision was made to allow the spread of COVID19 globally. President Trump suggested that himself in his 4.30.2020 press conference by saying that’s hard for Chinese leaders to explain that point away.
But there is still more to know, because that Wuhan Institute of Virology website makes it clear that the WHO and other domestic U.S. as well as Canadian institutions – some of which get taxpayer funding – plus international bodies helped pay for the operations in that center. What Warren Said…
Warren Buffett has a number of interesting sayings, some of which arguably have dual meanings or hidden meanings. One of them is that ‘you can’t make a good deal with a bad person.’ As our report last night indicated, there are facts that billions of dollars from Gates and Buffett led operations have poured into China for over 20 years. They did so knowing that Chinese sources routinely stole intellectual property and was engaged in a range of problematic behaviors inside their own country as well as internationally. Its Ramadan, and you don’t have to be a Muslim to furrow your brow over the treatment by China of their Islamic population, known their as Uighurs. China for years has had a forced-abortion “one child” policy. That arguably wouldn’t bother Warren Buffett, because he has funded such abortion providing services in the U.S. for years through his ‘charities.’
It is Kevin Clayton that has laid out in glowing terms Buffett’s ‘sources’ of information, his use of nonprofits and other tools that expand their “moat.”
There are reasons why the linked report above and the one below about Peter Buffett, Warren’s son who runs one of his charities, continues to be well read weeks after they were published.
It is Peter Buffett who said in his own op-ed, and in a video interview both of which are in the report linked above, that the ‘charitable’ works they do have a negligible effect on the causes that are supposed to uplift this or that social group.
That begs the question. What is the point of those donations then? The answers are many, including the tax shelter for Buffett – who postures wanting higher taxes but in fact takes numerous and complex steps to reduce his tax liability.
The evidence of years of research into Buffett-Berkshire-Clayton et al lead to the inescapable conclusion that Buffett stirs up trouble for manufactured housing independents. That is evidenced by funding through so-called dark money channels attacks on his Berkshire owned brands in manufactured housing, some of their corporate allies in the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI). That has been done through groups like MHAction, Prosperity Now, or even the Center for Public Integrity. The later of those teamed up with the Seattle Times to produce an ongoing series of attacks on Clayton Homes and their lending, but that series has the arguable side effect of making the rest of the industry look like scoundrels too.
Clayton, 21st, a Berkshire Hathaway board member who is an attorney, MHI and outside counsel have all been asked about these matters. There have been no comments and no denials. That’s not mere speculation or empty allegations. The money trail is there for all to see.

All of that plays into what is hitting the nation and manufactured housing too. Bill Gates sat for years on the Berkshire board, and as the 4.30.2020 report documented, Warren Buffett is one of three trustees of the Gates Foundation.
Summed up, the above and the linked reports paint a picture that can fairly be described as the greatest risk to this nation and the world since World War II. It is entirely in keeping with concerns raised on the Masthead by MHProNews in the reports linked above and below.
What the Trump Administration Isn’t Saying, Yet
The behavior of billionaire and Warren Buffett ally Bill Gates during this pandemic is nothing short of stunning. Time will soon tell what moves Buffett-led Berkshire Hathaway (BRK), Gates and other uber-wealthy vulture capitalists have played. This weekend, barring the unforeseen, Buffett and Charlie Munger will carry on with their “Woodstock of Capitalism” via video.
What is increasingly clear – and what might to some at first blush seem unrelated – is that RussiaGate was what President Trump’s defenders have said. A soft coup was attempted by tricking and charging people like Lt. General Michael Flynn. Key FBI, other law enforcement and national security people who served in the Obama Administration abused the FISA process to try to entrap members of the Trump campaign and transition team.
Recently unsealed documents include a hand-written note by an FBI agent that asks about their plan with the Trump transition team official, “What is our goal? Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute [Flynn] or get him fired?”

Flynn’s attorney has asked for all charges against him be dismissed, that federal filing is linked here.
The above has numerous nuances, but it could be boiled down to this. Members of the FBI, DOJ, and intelligence community were used during the Obama Administration to stop and/or unseat a duly elected president. Even the New York Times admits – albeit years later than Fox News reported – that the so-called Steele Dossier that was a key element of the Mueller investigation and “RussiaGate” was disinformation. “New Details Hint at Risk of Russian Misinformation in Dossier” was the NY Times headline on Apr 15, 2020 about the Steele Dossier.
Years of effort to unseat President Trump from inside the federal government occurred arguably in collusion with members of the former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton campaign that paid for that dossier. It isn’t as if this is the first time that people in federal agencies were used to target political opponents, that occurred during the Nixon, Clinton, Obama and other administrations, to name but a few. But that reality opens the door to the notion that President Trump has been sandbagged by members of the federal government, the WHO, China and possibly Gates and his cronies.
There are those who may think that they have a ‘moat’ of sorts – a durable competitive advantage – akin to what Buffett has achieved with Clayton Homes, 21st or other brands. But what this sordid affair with the Wuhan or CCP Virus – a.k.a. COVID19 or China Virus – reflects is a degree of corruption that is stunning in its depth and breadth.
This is one of several reasons why MHProNews’ publisher has formal endorsed President Trump for re-election. That’s detailed below. But a brief insight could be this. The people who support former Vice President Joe Biden are the same ones that have weaponized the health and economic safety of the U.S.
To elect Biden would be akin to electing a puppet of the billionaires like Gates, Buffett, Michael Bloomberg, George Soros and others that made life for manufactured housing independents difficult for 8 years.
The fact that numerous allegations of financial and sexual scandals involving Biden are being swept aside by the Democratic Party establishment speaks volumes. It isn’t that President Trump is a choir boy, but then, he never claimed to be one. By contrast, Biden postures sanctity while violating the precepts of his own claimed beliefs. That’s called hypocrisy. Perhaps no less important is that Biden simply doesn’t appear to be up to the task. He can’t speak but for a few minutes before babbling some absurdity. That’s not to mock him, it is to pity the man that his party’s establishment is shamefully using in such a fashion.
The case can be made based upon evidence that 45th president was sandbagged on COVID19. Yes, he sealed the U.S. border – first with China, then other international hotspots – before most other nations did. But that was weeks too late. Is it the president’s fault if federal officials failed to tell him what was going on in Wuhan, China early enough to act more rapidly? That would be unjust and absurd to argue.
There are Democrats who in good faith hold views different than Republicans, and vice versa. There are Libertarians, Green Party and other minor party or independent supporters who disagree with the major parties for principled reasons. As a disclosure, this writer is an independent and has been for years.
Those points noted, key Democratic leaders have by intention or accident played a dark role in this unfolding tragedy of COVID19. Untold numbers of small businesses will go out of business while Democrats jockeyed for money and causes unrelated or secondary to the main issues fostered by this pandemic. Protecting lives and the economy should have been the prime movers, not the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, or public broadcasting, as much as some might support such things. They also did an entirely political impeachment during the runup to the real – not hypothetical – Crimson Contagion.
China threatens the U.S. militarily, economically and clearly is willing to allow biological agents to run rampant. It is foolish to do business in that country. There are already lawmakers who propose changes to bring supply chains back to America. That’s been long overdue.
Frankly, the system of elections in the U.S. has artificially limited third parties for years. That’s another topic for another time. But what it means in practice is this. The 2020 presidential election will come down to a binary choice. President Trump – presuming his health and wellbeing hold – and whomever the Democrats advance, be it Joe Biden or some substitute for that seemingly mentally fragile man.
November 3, 2020 will be here in but 6 months, just 186 days away. There are reasons why the so-called “deep state” and the opponents of the president fear him, because he was putting the nation on a much more pragmatic course economically and geo-politically prior to this CCP virus outbreak.

But of all the things necessary – and there are lists of items like the need to supplant MHI with a truly pro-independent post-production advocacy association – perhaps the top item will be what happens on November 3rd.
If those supported by Buffett, Gates and the billionaire class get their way, a new 21st century great depression arguably lies ahead. President Trump isn’t perfect, but he’s worked to rebuild the working and middle class while protecting the nation from foreign threats. That’s worthy of positive support.
Its May Day. For millions of Christian believers, this is a time for prayer. For Muslims in Ramadan, they should ponder what is happening to the Uyghurs (or Uighurs). For constitutionalists, this lockdown and even the notion of having “immunity passes” is a risk to civil liberties.
The Trump Administration has tried to support financial liquidity during a pandemic that originated in China. Some American “pandemic profiteers” may prove to be traitors to their own nation. If so, perhaps post-election of President Trump is re-elected, those who have sold out the U.S.A., the working people and small businesses of this nation may witness the prosecution of criminals in suits and sportscoats. There is at least sufficient evidence to start such formal investigations of men like Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and others. It is worth noting in closing that Gates and Buffett have long opposed Mr. Trump, even before he became president. Why? Perhaps it is because he posed the biggest threat to their globalist agenda, which Democratic supporter Joel Kotkin described as the new feudalism.
May Day. Mayday. Don’t reward the muggers of the American Dream. The many can defeat the money, but only if the many intendents use their wit, wisdom, prayer and efforts in a pragmatic way.
