The Battle
Since before human history began, there has been a battle between good and evil that has sometimes subtly, sometime violently raged. No one that has lived through war doubts that evil exists. None that have experienced slavery or modern human trafficking – yes, slavery still exists in the modern era – doubt that evil is real. Those who know someone who has been ravaged by drug or alcohol addiction know all too well the traps of evil disguised as something ‘desirable’ too. The list goes on.
From time to time, voices emerge that speak truth to the powers that operate openly, but in nuanced ways. America has previously endured the Gilded Age and the Robber Barons. We are living in a new Gilded Age with new Robber Barons. It is dressed differently, but there are clear parallels.
