George Floyd’s brother Philonise in his statement to member of Congress on 6.10.2020 said that “He [George] pleaded for his life. He said he couldn’t breathe. He pleaded for his life,” Floyd said. Justice has to be served.”

Anyone with a heart, they know that that’s wrong. You don’t do that to a human being. You don’t do that to an animal,” Philonise Floyd continued, according to the report by left-of-center NBC News. “All lives matter, black lives matter,” Floyd said.

Preface. The killing of George Floyd shocked the conscience of the nation. So much so that the protests and violence that followed largely pushed the coronavirus pandemic off the top spot in news reports for weeks. This report will explore each aspect of the headline in a step-by-step fashion.

This is an interesting statement that voices across the left-center-right spectrum that are objective could embrace.

CNN in reporting on the results of their public opinion on racial issues survey on June 8, 2020 said the following.

QuoteMark1ManufacturedHomeLivingNewsTwo-thirds of Americans call racism a big problem in America today, up from 49% who said so in a 2015 CNN/Kaiser Family Foundation survey. The increase in this share has come most sharply among blacks (88% call it a big problem now vs. 66% in 2015), but there have been large increases among Latinos (from 64% to 79%) and whites (from 43% to 60%) as well.

There’s also been an increase in the share who say the US criminal justice system favors whites over blacks: 67% feel that way now, up from 52% in the fall of 2016.

About a quarter of Americans (25%), including a majority of blacks (54%), say that they have at some point feared for their lives because of their race or ethnicity. Among black men, 62% say that they have feared for their lives because of their race at some point, and 63% of black Americans of any gender under age 45 say the same.”

Voice across the left-right divide have widely condemned what occurred to George Floyd. But as often occurs in America, once a subject becomes heated, attempts are made to hijack the issue.

Left-of-center USA Today said this three days ago, “Peaceful protests got hijacked’: Some criminals used George Floyd protests as cover for looting, police say.” Conservative writer and commentator Victor Davis Hanson said “the left has used’ George Floyd’s death to stage cultural revolution” said right-of-center Fox News on 6.17.2020

Left-of-center Yahoo News reported on 6.16.2020 the following statement by Senator Tim Kaine (VA-D) in a speech in the Senate that the United States “created” slavery and “didn’t inherit slavery from anybody.” Here are those Senator Kaine pull quotes in context.

The first African Americans sent into the English colonies came to Point Comfort in 1619. They were slaves, they had been captured against their will, but they landed in colonies that didn’t have slavery — there were no laws about slavery in the colonies at that time,” Kaine stated. “The United States didn’t inherit slavery from anybody. We created it. It got created by the Virginia General Assembly and the legislatures of other states. It got created by the court systems in colonial America that enforced fugitive slave laws.”

The conservative-leaning National Review asked for a clarification by Kaine of his comments.

There was no law mandating slavery on our shores when African slaves came ashore in 1619. Did slavery already exist in the world? Of course. But not in the laws of colonial America at the time,” Kaine explained to the National Review. “We could have been a nation completely without the institution [of slavery]. But colonial legislatures and courts, and eventually the U.S. legal system, created the institution [of slavery] on our shores and maintained slavery until the 13th Amendment. As I said, we didn’t inherit it. We chose to create it.”

Tens of millions of dollars have been poured or pledged by corporate America into the Black Lives Matter and related causes in the past few weeks. One example is this from the CEO of PepsiCo, Ramon Laguarta. “I am announcing the next step in PepsiCo’s journey for racial equality: a more than $400 million set of initiatives over five years to lift up Black communities and increase Black representation at PepsiCo.

Laguarta’s statement sounds fine, but how that pledge plays out in practice remains to be seen. But questions should be asked such as – how much of this is marketing by Pepsi or other corporations? How much is pandering or perhaps another agenda?

With so much money flooding into ‘racial justice’ causes, and so much tension and racial division, a factual look at the history of slavery, race relations, and social injustice in America is warranted. Once the general facts are laid out, a look at how specific companies such as Warren Buffett led Berkshire Hathaway’s Clayton Homes and their affiliated lenders which have drawn fire for years from mainstream media and our trade publications over racial issues will follow.

We created it, and we created it and maintained it over centuries, and in my lifetime, we have finally stopped some of those practices, but we’ve never gone back to undue it,” Senator Kaine said. “Stopping racist practices at year 350 of 400 years, but then taking no effort to dismantle them, is not the same as truly combatting racism. But I’m mindful of the challenge laid down by our young people. No more politics as usual.”

Among the questions that will be probed below, is who is the “we” that Kaine was referring to in his comments on blacks, race, and the problems from slavery?

Keep in mind the Democratic party internal memo that surfaced on ‘handling’ those involved in Black Lives Matter (BLM), found in the report linked below. That memo was issued by the black DNC official shown in the featured image below.

The Dark Chapters of Slavery is Global, Not Just American

Let’s be clear. Does the United States have dark points in our history that include slavery? Absolutely.

But so does virtually every other nation. What should be avoided is the weaponization of history, taking facts out of context so that they lose their meaning. Facts out of context or twisting history in a way that angers people of various backgrounds can fuel unrest, as the ongoing protests or violance in cities across America make clear.

Fact. Every continent on earth had slavery for centuries, with the possible exception of icy Antarctica, which only has had a relatively few scientists and explorers in the modern era. But even Antarctica may have had slaves brought by the Nazi Germans, according to a controversial 2019 book “The Greatest Transition In Human History: Transition Into True Freedom…” by Mark Baughman. But as point of fact, some nations ended slavery before America did. Others did so years after the U.S. ended slavery.

As Senator Kaine himself indicated, slavery existed in other countries for centuries. Anyone who reads the Hebrew Scriptures – the Christian ‘Old Testament’ – knows that slavery existed well over 2000 years ago.

To imagine that slavery is an American institution is simply not factually accurate or true. It has been a problem that has existed globally for several millennia.

The sobering reality of slavery is troubling to modern minds. It is technically illegal world-wide. However, slavery and human trafficking tragically still exists.

The chart above and below are from the Obama Administration era. Rephrased, it should be stressed that these are stunning modern issues – not just history long past. These issues have crossed Democratic and Republican administrations. The oppression that went with slavery, serfdom, and involuntary servitude are what many people throughout history experienced.

InfographicModernDaySlaveryHumanTraffickingHumanRightsFirstLogoMHProNewsLogo

The very term “slavery” is said to come from the name “Slav.” The BBC reported it this way, “The term slave has its origins in the word slav.” Wikipedia says “The English term slave derives from the ethnonym Slav. In medieval wars many Slavs were captured and enslaved, which led to the word slav becoming…” synonymous with slavery.

As a reminder for those who know and to inform those who were never taught that fact, Slavs are common in Eastern Europe. Put differently, there are instances of European slavery that included whites enslaving whites.

But there were also included darker-skinned Muslims taking whites as slaves. Per the BBC,The slavs, who inhabited a large part of Eastern Europe, were taken as slaves by the Muslims of Spain during the ninth century AD.” Centuries before America was founded, slavery already existed. It wasn’t just blacks being enslaved by whites. Rather, various racial and ethnics groups have enslaved their own and others.

Indeed, the BBC told their readers that “In Africa there were a number of societies and kingdoms which kept slaves, before there was any regular commercial contact with Europeans, including the Asanti, the Kings of Bonny and Dahomey.” They cited Greeks and Romans who kept slaves, which could be of various ancestries. It is a rather embarrassing fact that the Kente cloth worn by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and some fellow Democrats was used by a black group that enslaved other blacks.

Despite what Senator Kaine said, the BBC states the historic facts like this. “Going back further in time the Mayans and Aztecs kept slaves in the Americas, as did the Sumerians and Babylonians in the Near East. The Egyptians employed huge numbers of slaves, including the Jews, Europeans and Ethiopians.”

Indeed, the main religious texts of Judaism, Islam and Christianity all recognise slaves as a separate class of people in society,” stated that same BBC report which gives these reminders that slavery was not only common but was a widely accepted reality. “As for those of your slaves which wish to buy their liberty, free them if you find in them any promise and bestow on them a part of the riches which God has given you.” – Koran, Chapter 24, Verse 32.”

Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond [i.e.: slave] or free.” The BBC mistakenly said that Biblical verse was from the “Old Testament,” but was correct in saying that it was a citation from “Ephesians 6, Chapter 6, Verse 8” in the King James Version (KJV).

Put differently, as MHProNews has said for years, much of human history can be viewed as the story of one group, nation, or alliance trying to manipulate, oppress, or “enslave” others. It is often the richer and better connected that try to oppress or control the masses. Who says? How about big-time Democratic backer Warren Buffett? The billionaire chairman of Berkshire Hathaway called it class warfare.

There’s class warfare, all right, but it’s my class, the rich class, that’s making war, and we’re winning.” So said Warren Buffett per the left-of-center New York Times on November 26, 2006.

If that isn’t enough, Actually, there’s been class warfare going on for the last 20 years, and my class has won.” – said Warren Buffett according to the left-of-center Washington Post on September 30, 2011, citing an interview on left-of-center CNBC.

Facts are not partisan. Facts are what they are.

When someone looks at the protests that have often turned violent in cities and towns from coast-to-coast, they are largely in Democratically controlled cities that may also be in Democratically dominated states. Minneapolis is a Democratic city. So too is Seattle. Atlanta has a black mayor and is Democratic. There are exceptions such as Miami or Lakeland, FL. But in both of those later cases, local Republican officials took quick steps to keep protests under control -respecting lawful protests – but stopping them from becoming unlawful violent protests. The U.S. Constitution protects the right of the peacefully assembly and protest. But the Constitution does not say it is okay to turn to violence, looting, defacing property, or other problematic and sometimes deadly actions.

Those violent protests are due in part to misinformation about issues such as the history of slavery. Which begs the question. Why have billionaires such as Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, George Soros, and others supported such problematic behavior? When the money trail of their ‘donations’ of several billionaires are followed, they are connected to groups tied to Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and others. The evidence is outlined in the report linked below.

Nazis Are Socialists

Dinesh D’Souza is a person of color who was born in India and came as a youth to the United States. He is a historian, author, and conservative filmmaker. D’Souza’s opponents label him a “conspiracy theorist.” Really? Where is the evidence that what he’s published or produced is factually inaccurate?

The reason that issue matters is that D’Souza has taken some ‘politically incorrect’ – but factually supported stances – in his best-selling books and popular movies. Let’s be clear, D’Souza is no saint. As the former President Obama quote cited above says, life is messy. Good people can do or say bad things, and bad people can do or say good things.

D’Souza pled guilty to a campaign finance violation. D’Souza was made an example of by the Obama Administration; instead of a fine, he spent time behind bars. The case of D’Souza is illustrative for several reasons. There are those who have argued for years, on both sides of the left-right divide, that justice in America is two-tiered. There is a valid argument to be made to that effect. Examples on both sides of the left-right divide can be found to illustrate that, which include, but are not limited to racial issues.

CouldWePleaseHaveIntellectualHonestyAdmitSystemTodayFunctionsGiveMoreMoneyUltraRichQuoteMichaelEveryPhotoRabobankLogoQuoteMHProNewsQuote
The statement is increasingly agreed to by those on both sides of the left-right divide. That begs the question. Who are those ultra-rich? How do the wealthy use “the system” to enrich themselves? See the linked reports herein for evidence-based insights.

There is evidence that Warren Buffett and some of his billionaire colleagues have arguably manipulated the system to their benefit in ways that violate several federal and/or state laws. Some billionaires have gone to prison; Bernie Madoff may be the most famous example. But Madoff also illustrates how long it takes to bring a billionaire to justice. This makes two points. Justice can be achieved against billionaires, but it requires effort.

There are any number of voices from people of color who make the point that history has been twisted to suit a political narrative that is demonstrably untrue.

D’Souza is one such voice. But another is Professor Carol M. Swain.

ProfessorCarolMSwaimWikiVanderbiltManufacturedHomeProNews

Swain has connected President Lyndon Banes Johnson (LBJ), the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), and racial inequality directly with the Democratic Party. She does so based upon factual, historic evidence. She left the Democratic party, based on evidence and thought. As Wikipedia says, “In 2009, Swain became a Republican, explaining: “As a Christian, I saw stark contradictions between my biblical worldview and the Democratic Party’s position on the issues I care about most deeply.”

Swain and D’Souza are among those who plainly state that Democratic President Lyndon Banes Johnson was a racist. He reportedly used the “n-word” from time-to-time. D’Souza has been a strong voice that ties Nazi Socialist racism with Democratic history.

As a disclaimer, not all Prager U videos are perfect, but then not much in life is. Prager’s videos, as any other source, is ideally taken through the prism of the ancient wisdom of separating the wheat from the chaff. By and large, Prager’s videos are well done and are routinely well researched.

The point? What millions believe about the history of the Democratic Party and the evolution of race relations in America is based upon spin or outright falsehood. As a disclaimer, this author is a political independent, not registered with either major party for years. By way of family history, my parents were Kennedy Democrats who later became Reagan Republicans. Truth and principles of justice can flow from people of good will from a variety of groups. So this isn’t about partisanship, rather, this is about facts. Because only facts and cooler heads could help tamp down the heat that has set fires to building, deadly violence, looting and more.

Twisting the facts is fueling unrest in America. That doesn’t help minority shop and business owners. Black businesses have been disproportionately hurt by COVID19 related shutdowns. Who says? Left-of-center Washington Post, Politico, and other sources like the Business Insider. But again, who ran the cities and states where shutdown orders were so strict that it often harmed minorities? They routinely tend to come from Democratic states and Democratic cities. That’s a troubling reality.

Put differently, at precisely the time that millions of Americans were out of work due to “temporary” coronavirus sparked shutdown, the tragedy of George Floyd occurred. It was a dark opportunity for those on the left – such as Black Lives Matter (BLM) – to fuel that into a national movement, even though George’s brother Terrance Floyd said “My Family Is a Peaceful Family,” per ABC News. Terrance pleaded for peace, not violence. Violence, said Terrance Floyd, will not “bring my brother back at all.”

The “defund the police” or “abolish” call pushed by BLM, Antifa, and others come from those of similarly leftist thinking. New York Magazine, a left-leaning publisher, said Defunding Police: the Only Cop Reform Americans Don’t Like.” More specifically, “Black people hate the idea (29 percent favor, 49 percent oppose),” said their report published six days ago.

It was a lack of policing, the ordered pull-back of police, that contributed to riots and destruction in cities such as Minneapolis, Atlanta, or Seattle. How did destruction of minority owned businesses help the black lives matter cause?

When a crisis arises, the Saul Alinsky “Rules for Radicals” school of thought that unites many on the left kicks in.  As former Obama Administration chief of staff Rahm Emanuel said, “You never want a serious crisis go to waste.” As that statement is considered, understand that Emanuel – a Democrat – was mayor of Chicago. Why didn’t the murder rate among blacks drop during his term of office? Could it be that a crisis is useful for some who are cynical in their political goals?

Illusions, Collusions – “Heads I Win, Tails You Lose” – “Never Let a Serious Crisis Go To Waste” – Gates, Buffett Massive Money Grabs?

Briefly, the “enhanced preemption” made federal law by enactment of the Manufactured Housing Improvement Act (MHIA) of 2000. Properly applied, it would have allowed a wider use of affordable housing. That in turn would benefit lower income households and those who want to save money on housing. It could boost home ownership which is a key to closing the wealth inequality gap.

Unfortunately, Warren Buffett-led Berkshire Hathaway demonstrably dominates the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI). MHI, in conjunction with the Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR) and others. Buffett’s Berkshire brands dominate MHI through dues as well as via board positions, in alliance with others. Some evidence is in the annotated graphic below.

MHARR’s president explains the reason why federal “enhanced preemption” is so important.

In minority communities, Clayton’s grip verges on monopolistic. Last year, according to federal data, the company made 72 percent of the loans to black people who borrowed to buy mobile homes. Last month’s investigation described “a disturbing business model” that leaves “already vulnerable consumers uniquely susceptible to default,” wrote Waters, as reported here and in the left-of-center Seattle Times.

Donna Feir, in a research document for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, made a similar point, also cited the Seattle Times and Clayton Homes history in this matter, along with the problems associated with Clayton Homes affiliated lending units.

Affordable home ownership is the most proven path to wealth building. That’s long been known. So why are black homeownership rates so low? There is history behind that too. Part of it is thwarting access to affordable, modern manufactured homes.

That sets the stage for pivoting back to journalist William Haupt III in an op-ed on Center Square, which AllSides media rating calls a ‘center’ publication, uses the following pull quotes from President Lyndon Banes Johnson.

Democracy is a constant tension between truth and half-truths.” – Lyndon B. Johnson (D).

Haupt makes the following argument.

QuoteMark1ManufacturedHomeLivingNewsProgressives praise LBJ [Lyndon Banes Johnson, the late president] for leapfrogging America into socialism. Conservatives see the Great Society as classical government overreach. One thing we can all agree on is, over a half century since he left office, we live Johnson’s legacy each day. And judging what the Great Society did to “our society,” it had broad “intended consequences.” It redefined the definition of “poor.” Instead of helping the poor improve themselves and become independent, it sequestered them in a subclass that retarded growth and made them federal dependents. The Great Society produced a “miserable society” for the most needy in America. Their nuclear families became entangled by unaccountable liberal federal social engineers and bureaucrats. The collapse of marriage and classic traditional family architecture became the norm for millions of Americans in our lower-income communities.

The fundamental premise of LBJ’s Great Society was based on political paternalism. But this belies the basic tenets of republicanism, where leaders permit the free market’s use of its intrinsic ability and financial resources to solve problems within a society. The dilemma with political paternalism is: By permitting government to do everything for us, we give the government total power over us. If we let government plan retirement, education, provide healthcare, housing and other necessities for us, then government will determine and dictate the quality, quantity and conditions of our total bequests.”

Left-leaning Snopes, in a fact check casts doubt on the claim that Democratic President LBJ said “I’ll have those n*ggers voting Democratic for 200 years.” But ironically, Snopes admits that Johnson was a racist and certainly used the ‘n-word’ before. In a response to that Snopesfact-check” author Jon Miltmore writing on October 10, 2016 in Intellectual Takeout under the title “Did LBJ Say, ‘I’ll have those n*ggers voting Democratic for 200 years’?”

The article includes this video, which plays audio of LBJ using the “n*ggers” in a conversation, and not very favorably.

Miltmore makes the following argument with respect to Snopes and the use by LBJ of the claim that he will have blacks “voting Democratic for 200 years.”

QuoteMark1ManufacturedHomeLivingNewsThe fact-checking outfit [Snopes], which has a notable left-leaning tilt, seems primarily concerned with defending the idea that LBJ’s action on civil rights was anything but “genuine idealism.” They ignore or overlook the following facts to reach this conclusion:

  1. Kessler’s source is historically sound (a firsthand account from an eyewitness).
  2. LBJ’s paternal and racist rhetoric toward African Americans (his fondness for the use of the word “n*gger” is well documented) casts some doubt on the idea that his motivations on civil rights were altruistic.
  3. Luci Baines Johnson, who likely heard her father use racial epithets, would have motivation to deny any racist utterances she might have made.
  4. Goodwin’s quote confirms that LBJ possessed a well-honed political calculus on the issue of civil rights.
  5. If LBJ said what MacMillan claimed, MacMillan’s “editorializing” comments, which Snopes frowned upon, make sense. (MacMillan used the words “phony” and “ploy” to characterize LBJ’s motivations on the Civil Rights Act of 1964.)
  6. Numerous historians have LBJ on the record referring to the Civil Rights Act of 1957 as “the n*gger bill,” a phrase that runs counter to altruism on civil rights.
  7. One can imagine LBJ saying what MacMillan claims he said, especially if LBJ was trying to whip up support for his bill among reluctant Democrats.

We likely never will know for certain if LBJ said what MacMillan claims, but Snopes’ case falls short of casting serious doubt on the testimony of an eyewitness account.”

Why does this matter? Because there are serious researchers, including people of color, who believe that minorities have been manipulated through policies such as the “Great Society.” The billionaires’ backed policies, by accident and/or design, harm minorities, but also the white working and middle class. If they are sincere about helping minorities, as support for ‘black lives matter’ is supposed to reflect, then why has there been no progress for decades?

I'llHaveThoseNiggersVotingDemocratsForNext200YearsPresidentLyndonBanesJohnsonPhotoAZQuotes-MHproNewsLogo

But conservative and libertarian thinkers have noted that poverty was declining before LBJ’s Great Society was passed. Poverty has been largely stagnant since. Meanwhile, over $22 trillion dollars have been spent. Taxes are higher. Often the billionaires are directly or indirectly benefiting from programs that previously didn’t exist.

With a left-leaning media for decades, a close and consistent look at the harm being done to the black community was largely neglected. That noted, the New York Times said on September 16, 1982 that President “Reagan says blacks were hurt by works of the Great Society.” While President Obama was still in office, the left-of-center Vox said on December 29, 2016 that “Why the war on poverty failed — and what to do now.” While their policy prescriptions are debatably, the fact that the War on Poverty started by the “Great Society” failed is difficult to dispute. That is illustrated by numbers of voices on both sides of the left-right divide.

As the City Journal said, “Almost 70 percent of black children are born to single mothers. Those mothers are far more likely than married mothers to be poor, even after a post-welfare-reform…” in a 2005 article entitled “The Black Family: 40 Years of Lies, Rejecting the Moynihan report caused untold, needless misery.”

Earlier in this report, MHProNews posed the question, who is the “we” that Senator Kaine was referring to in his slavery rant? The argument can be made that it is other Democrats who historically fought to protect slavery.  See what Democratic Speaker Pelosi and others said and did.

Those Democrats have often been supported by rich Wall Street types, the uber-rich like Warren Buffett and others. Buffett said as much.

Summing up. It wasn’t Democrats that freed the slaves, it was a Republican president, Abraham Lincoln. It was largely Republicans who passed the Voting Rights Act that restored rights that had been limited by Democrats after Lincoln’s assassination’s. Democratic President LBJ, per the views and evidence presented by several historians, arguably manipulated blacks into urban servitude that limited their rights by trapping them in poverty through “Great Society” programs. Without high black turnout and voting Democratic, the alliances that have been forged by that party would not be able to elect their candidates.

Summing Up this MHProNews Report and Analysis

Billionaires have certainly supported voices on both sides of the left-right, Democrats vs. Republican divide. It would be going too far to say that they only support Democrats, as the Koch brothers are an obvious example of billionaire support for libertarian or Republican candidates.

But as Buffett said, the billionaire class has made war on Americans. Dividing people by color, gender, religion, or in other ways is part of the decades-old ploy. While posturing to be helping, they are often actually harming.

Meanwhile, while sincerely left-center-right people debate issues, the billionaires continue to consolidate wealth and power. See the report linked below.

Facts aren’t conspiracy theories. Facts are what they are. Facts are the opposite of conspiracy theories.

There are an array of tactics, including the “Big Lie” that have been used by those with power to keep the masses of Americans feuding and thus under control.

Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, George Soros, Mark Zuckerberg, and others like them have tossed around money that makes them look good. But as Peter Buffett, Warren’s own son has said, the ‘charity’ that they give actually changes nothing. It maintains the status quo.

That status quo includes Republicans and Democrats, or what Senator Rand Paul (KY-R) called an “unholy alliance” that is periodically revealed between the two major parties.

It takes time to connect the dots. But for those willing to look at the facts with an open mind, they are there for all to see.

Post Script – The Trump Effect

Candidate Donald J. Trump was a disruptive candidate for the establishment of both major parties.  He took on the Republican establishment, including by lashing out a Republican President George W. Bush on issues such as the tragic Middle Eastern wars.  Donald Trump also took on President Barack H. Obama on policies that kept millions trapped in poverty and for pushing international deals arguably harmful to America.

That disruption threatened by candidate Trump before he took office wasn’t entirely new. Former Senator Rick Santorum (PA-R), or former Governor Mike Huckabee (AR-R) had stated policies similar in many ways to those of candidate-now-President Trump. But those others were successfully sidelined. President Trump won despite a widely oppositional media.

Media and real estate mogul Trump was media savvy enough to upend his rivals. Some, such as current HUD Secretary Ben Carson came on board, but others became ‘never-Trumpers.’

Left-of-center Medium on May 31, 2020 blamed the Trump Administration for the effects of the COVID19 pandemic, even though the virus originated in China and has clear ties to Gates and others.

Several studies show some 90 percent of media coverage is anti-Trump. Is he really that bad? Or rather, is President Trump that much of a threat to the system that Buffett says has admitted built the billionaire class’ wealth and power?

That Medium article had a fascinating opening that sheds light on that question. It’s been building since the first day of his Presidency. Over a million women marched and demonstrated against this President and his policies, we didn’t know although it was predictable that we would reach a point where the nation would be in turmoil.” That fits the left- and anti-Trump narrative. But it actually begs the question. How is it that such a large turnout occurred before the Trump Administration had done anything?

Protests of that size, or of the size witnessed in recent weeks require organization and money. The evidence already exists that it is being funded in good part by corporate and left-leaning billionaires.

Several Democrats and Republican Donald J. Trump have each said, “the system is rigged.” They often agree on the facts. What is different is how they propose to solve the problem. What the left proposes are rules and taxes that actually support the wealthy.

The billionaire class have learned how to forge and then use tax laws that benefits them but often hurts others.

Shipping factories and jobs overseas hurt American workers, including blacks and other minorities. Who opposed that? Candidate Trump. Who has been working to reform decades of practices that spanned the left and right? President Trump.

On September 27, 2019 MHProNews ran this report “This Video Will Get Trump Elected,” Donald the Disrupter Rips Establishment, Uber-Rich, Corporate Media, Deep State Insiders, Globalists.” Notice how he takes on tough topics in the ‘rigged system’ and in foreign policy. He has largely stuck to that agenda.

President Trump in his interview with former CBS News reporter, the award-winning independent Sharyl Attkisson called out the deep state and those he says are verging on treason against America.

Independent Journalist Sharyl Attkisson’s “Deep State” “Call it Treason” Interview, COVID19 & President Donald J. Trump

Talk radio king Rush Limbaugh has said recently what MHLivingNews and MHProNews reported weeks before. Namely, that the president was blind-sided on the COVID19 front. That’s sad, the president is human. Former President Obama’s point quoted near the top applies.  Let’s note, Limbaugh – like others – can make mistakes too. That said, there are evidence-based reasons to believe that this comment was spot on.

President Trump is an existential threat to those who have rigged the system. So is it any surprise that the 45th president’s enemies have tried before he took office to try to prevent him from being able to move into the Oval Office? That fierce opposition doesn’t make him a saint, something he’s all but said several times. Like the rest of the quick, he is a sinner. POTUS Trump’s supporters don’t think of him as a saint. They do, however, believe President Trump is working to lift up the masses of Americans from all racial, gender, political, or other backgrounds.

Reportedly some $40 million was spent trying to find something impeachable. Some close to the president were found guilty of process crimes that had no connection to the presidential campaign. How many politicians could have tens of millions spent trying to destroy one person and survive?

That mitigates in favor of the president. Pre-COVID19, the economic picture for blacks and minorities were improving. People are known as much by who supports them as by those who oppose them.

Blaming this president for something that started decades before he took office – racism – is unjust at best or foolish at worst. The roots of racial inequality are often traced back to a manipulation of good laws that have been thwarted.

Wealth inequality is often traced to housing disparity.  The Trump Administration’s HUD Secretary Ben Carson said the following.

The laws exist that could remedy this problem. Antitrust laws exist that could break up the monopolists that have manipulated much of the media, political, and other institutions in America.

RevDonaldTyeJrManufacturedHousingIndustryMHProNews

The question is will those good laws be fully implemented?

Anecdotal evidence suggests that the wrong terminology impacts price. But it also impacts people’s emotions, see the poet who rejected the use of the t-word with regard to her home, by clicking the image above.

In a swampy Washington, D.C., where even members of President Trump’s own party had to be rooted out before progress was made. They have so weaponized the name of the president, doubtlessly hoping people in the middle won’t look too closely at the facts.

Trump Administration Asked to Withdraw Brian D Montgomery Nomination Over Conflicts of Interest

MHProNews took the stance that Brian Montgomery is demonstrably part of the problem at HUD, not part of the solution. Some Trump Administration appointees or Obama Administration holdovers proved to be problematic too. Calling things as they are is what media should do. This publication will strive to do that, always. Doing what’s right is always the right thing to do.

Timely thoughts for manufactured housing professionals and affordable housing advocates.

Summing up.

Slavery is an evil that dates back for thousands of years. It wasn’t an American invention. The U.S. ended slavery at great cost of blood and treasure. The evil was corrected. However, the Democratic Party historically kept blacks ‘down.’  By twisting history and repeating that ‘big lie’ often, millions have wrongly come to believe some things as true that are demonstrably not true at all.

Deep pocket billionaires are getting richer as this pandemic and rioting continues. Are we to think that is a coincidence? Or should the dots be connected and those who have funded the protests and have twisted the system for their own benefit going to be held to account?

Bill Gates and Warren Buffett are among those who have benefited, according to this IPS report.

The bulk of the truth is hiding in plain sight.  But it takes time to compile the facts, connect the dots, and then compile it in a fashion that can make sense.

Good and problematic information can come from a variety of sources. Affordable home ownership is one proven way to bridge the wealth inequality gap. Democrats and Republican research on that point agrees.

But just as Donald J. Trump has been in the process of taking over and remaking the GOP, there is ample evidence that several billionaires have controlled much of the Democratic leadership for years. But those leaders have often postured one thing, while doing something quite different. Thus, the history of the policies that claim to help blacks and minorities must be compared to the realities.

The Trump Administration has had its misses, as have others. But the pre-COVID19 economy and policies were helping blacks, other minorities, and whites of working and middle class backgrounds. Even CNN’s graphic above, and another below from Fox Business make those points.

A key part of the solution is enforcing good laws equally. Good laws can correct the ‘rigged system‘ that have enriched the few at great cost to the many.

An attorney with long ties to MHI with no similar ties to MHARR told MHProNews recently about his view that there is ‘significant fraud and corruption evident in manufactured housing.’ The point is that the warning signs are there for those willing to look. There are known federal and state investigations for the same reasons.

The industry is underperforming. There has to be a logical reason for that during an affordable housing crisis. The reason this site is so highly read by MHPros is arguably because we gather the facts, data, and provide analysis that no one else in the industry’s trade media dares publishing. That’s likely why were are the documented runaway #1 most read and largest.
