According to Oxford Languages a “mashup” is “a mixture or fusion of disparate elements.” In MHVille, there are sound reasons for such topical mashups, because government influences or has a wide degree of control over businesses, politics influences government, and culture is both upstream and downstream from politics. To understand our industry’s position in the U.S., it is useful to more clearly understand the ‘big picture’ in the U.S. If you ask the typical artificial intelligence (AI) system for information with little to no guidance you will tend to get information that is left-leaning. That’s according to the AI systems themselves, which cite the research that documents that reality. Knowing that AI systems tend to have a left-leaning bias should help truth seekers to better frame their inquiries and how to better understand those AI generated responses. How the input-inquiry is phrased or “framed” also matters. If you or someone you know happens to be pro-Democrat or a Democratic leaning voter, the headline topics are relevant. But if you or someone you know happens to be a Republican, minor party, or independent style voter, this report still matters, because it will reveal aspects of reality as presented by the various cited sources themselves. Quoting from the sources cited in the headline – “MSNBC Rebrand to MSNOW; DNC Chair Ken Martin and Left-Leaning Politico; Psychology Today Research-40 Years of Religion and Mental Health; 2026 Battle Heats Up-Reality Check Mashup; MHVille FEA” – doesn’t necessarily imply agreement or an endorsement. Accurately quoting or providing the statement of a given source should clearly reflect the position of that source on the topic under discussion. In a university class years ago, a professor explained the difference and value between reading what an original source said in their own words rather than reading what someone else claimed that source did or said. Several volumes of books were purchased on the strength of that insight.
This MHVille facts-evidence-analysis (FEA) is already underway. For those seeking more happiness, peace of mind, or other keen insights that can lead to practical improvements, dig in.
With that brief preface, x number of items will be presented to MHProNews readers on the headline topics. Once each of those are digested, like then or not, a greater and more authentic insight into reality can be yours.
It has been said that reading is fundamental. While true, perhaps the better expression is that understanding often requires reading.
There are billions of pages of content online, there is no way a normal human can read it all. Nor is it necessary. But we must do enough reading that seeks understanding in order to navigate through the world as it is. More on that in Part VI where the balance of the MHVille facts-evidence-analysis (FEA) will occur.
“Versant is the new parent company of MSNBC following a spin-off from NBCUniversal,” per Gemini. MHProNews notes that this was the Google-search version of Gemini, not the logged in tool version of Gemini. Gemini might have more accurately said: Comcast’s NBCUniversal.
“Comcast [NBCUniversal] is spinning off these channels into a new company (Versant) to allow them to pursue independent strategies in a changing media landscape.”

A message to our community
Later this year, MSNBC will take on a new name: My Source News Opinion World (MS NOW).
This name further underscores our mission: to serve as your destination for breaking news and thoughtful analysis and remain the home for the perspectives that you’ve relied on for nearly 30 years.
For our viewers who have watched us for decades, it may be hard to imagine this network by any other name. We understand. But our promise to you remains as it always has. You know who we are, and what we do.
The same familiar and trusted hosts and journalists who make sense of what is happening in Washington, across the country, and around the world will still be here — whether that’s as you’re having a cup of coffee getting ready for the day ahead, seeking answers during breaking news moments, going deeper on the day’s headlines in the evenings, or discussing the week’s biggest stories on the weekends.
You might be wondering, why is this change happening? As part of our move to a new media company, VERSANT — which also includes CNBC, Golf Channel, GolfNow, and SportsEngine — we’ll no longer be part of NBCUniversal and NBC News. This gives us the freedom to chart our own path forward, and we’re excited about where it’s headed.
In fact, we’ve been growing. In the past few months, we’ve welcomed Pulitzer, Emmy, Murrow, and Peabody award-winning journalists into our newsroom, and have been recruiting for nearly 100 new roles. At a time when so many newsrooms are shrinking, we’re investing in more reporting, more coverage, and more ways to serve you.
Regardless of our name, our commitment to this community remains as strong as it’s ever been and in the months ahead we will unveil new ways to connect with you directly.
We will continue to cover the day’s news, ask the questions that matter most, and share how it impacts you, without fear or favor.
As Rachel often reminds us all … watch this space.

Changing Names Won’t Fix MSNBC’s Reputation As A Left-Wing Propaganda Machine
MSNBC may be undergoing a major rebranding, but its role as a left-wing propaganda operation is here to stay.
On Monday, the network announced that it will be transitioning to “My Source News Opinion World,” or “MS NOW” later this year. The name change comes as part of the outlet’s move to Versant, a new media company separate from NBCUniversal and NBC News that is expected to include the Golf Channel, CNBC, GolfNow, and SportsEngine.
These changes demonstrate our focus on “building our individual identity and vision for the future while laying a foundation for the continued growth and success of our businesses,” Versant CEO Mark Lazarus reportedly wrote in memo to network staff.
While it may be getting a new name and paint job (that are already receiving mockery online), the outlet seemingly has no plans to abandon its role as a mouthpiece for the Democrat Party. MSNBC President Rebecca Kutler all but confirmed as much in an internal memo obtained by NBC News, in which she wrote, “While our name will be changing, who we are and what we do will not.”
“Our commitment to our work and our audiences will not waiver from what the brand promise has been for three decades,” Kutler wrote. The network additionally confirmed in its announcement that the “same familiar and trusted hosts and journalists who make sense of what is happening in Washington, across the country, and around the world will still be here.”
In other words, MS NOW will be no different than its soon-to-be predecessor when it comes to spewing endless amounts of propaganda on behalf of the outlet’s Democrat allies.
This is hardly a shock, especially when considering the doozies the network and its “talent” have put out over the years.
Not long before that, NBCUniversal (MSNBC’s current parent company) was forced to settle a $30 million defamation lawsuit involving MSNBC’s “familiar and trusted” personnel. As The Federalist’s Brianna Lyman reported, several of the network’s hosts (namely, Rachel Maddow, Chris Hayes, and Nicolle Wallace) “falsely accused a Georgia doctor of unnecessarily — and without authorization — performing hysterectomies on illegal immigrants in an ICE facility.”
[READ: MSNBC Producer: ‘Network Is Indistinguishable’ From Democrat Party, Makes Viewers ‘Dumber’]
And who could forget MSNBC’s role in covering up Joe Biden’s decline while in office; giving softball interviews to Kamala Harris and her hubby ahead of the 2024 election; downplaying economic hardship and the border crisis under Biden; pushing the “bloodbath” and Russia collusion hoaxes; and the many other examples of the network’s devotion to left-wing ideology over objective journalism?
MSNBC can attempt to rebrand all it wants. But the fact remains that until the network learns how to be an actual news operation, many Americans will continue to see it as the Democrat propaganda machine that it is.
Part III – From Right-Leaning Fox News is the Democratic (left-leaning) National Committee (DNC) Chairman Ken N. Martin (D) provided by MHProNews under fair use guidelines for media
To paraphrase President Ronald Reagan, I think it’s time to ask: do you honestly feel better off today than you were at the beginning of the year?
In the past few weeks, President Donald Trump cheated at golf in Scotland on the taxpayer dime, announced a $200 million White House ballroom to host his rich donors, finalized a Qatari grift for his new Air Force One, waddled around the White House roof like a lost old man, and talked about how his old pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein “stole” a 16-year-old spa worker from Mar-a-Lago.
How much of that time did he spend actually focusing on the economy?
On jobs?
On bringing prices down, like he promised to do on day one?
Look, for years, the Trump Industrial Complex has been ruthlessly effective at painting Democrats every which way. I’ll admit, we didn’t do nearly enough to define ourselves before allowing them to define us. In fact, we did some research the other month and found the number one word associated with the Democratic Party was “weak.”
Now, I know that’s not the case. We’re the party of the working class, the small business, the farmer. Before leading the DNC, I headed up the Minnesota DFL – and you know what DFL stands for? Democratic-Farmer-Labor.
We’re the party that says, we don’t want to dismantle the VA or fire vets from their jobs, we want the men and women who put their lives on the line for our freedom to be able to find an affordable home or get care after they’ve served. We’re the party that promises, if you’re going to work your butt off for decades, then you shouldn’t have to worry about some snake oil salesman blowing up your Social Security. And now it seems we’re the only party that still believes the Constitution matters.
But it doesn’t matter what I know. It matters what people think. Between now and the midterm elections, our job – my job – is to make the case why your life would be better with Democrats in charge.
Now, you know what else Trump Republicans in D.C. are ruthlessly effective at?
Ruining the country.
Trump thinks the best way to show leadership is through bumper-sticker politics. But while you read his catchy slogans, he drives the car into oncoming traffic.
When he wants to appear tough, he sends the military into U.S. cities.
When he wants to make the economy seem better than it is, he fires economists and pumps fake trade deals.
When he wants to avoid his friendship with the most notorious sex criminal in modern history, he whips up BS scandals about Democrats.
Meanwhile, the latest labor report shows the past three months as the weakest stretch for jobs since COVID-19. America’s small business backbone is being ground into dust. Farmers are shutting down operations. Families are paying more, getting less, and sitting up at night wondering if their job will be there for them next week.
It’s almost as though, since coming into power, Trump and his allies in Congress have done everything possible to stop America from being great.
They caused unnecessary economic tariff chaos and then, with their debt-ballooning budget, followed it up by ripping healthcare and food from those who need basic lifelines to make it through tough times. All to give lucrative tax windfalls to the most extreme elites. The richest of the richest of the rich.
They attacked construction jobs, rural hospitals and nursing homes. They’re raising energy prices, grocery prices, clothing prices, car prices – the list goes on.
And Trump said foreign countries would eat the tariff costs. Nope. You’re eating the costs. No press conference or talking point or billionaire-controlled AI bot can convince your bank account of something that’s not true.
The thing is, we all want America to be great.
But Democrats measure greatness by how many people have healthcare, how many families can find childcare that doesn’t break the bank, how many young couples can get keys to their first home, how many people with amazing ideas can turn those ideas into businesses.
Let’s not forget, the Republican Party some of us still remember did big things. We didn’t always agree, and we fought bitterly at times, but at least they tried. They actually invested in stuff that matters to people, like building the interstate highway system, creating NASA, and knocking out polio. Hell, even President Richard Nixon created the EPA to make sure air is clean and water is safe. Now, the Trump administration is greenlighting forever chemicals in your water. These are the people who ran on “Make America Healthy Again.”
Nobody should feel like they have to cover for Trump anymore. You deserve better. Plus, he already has a cartoon villain squad covering up for him every day with the Epstein files.
If you’re disillusioned by politics, think that this government is captured by the ultra-elites, or believe the system is broken and screwing you over – you’re right.
If you’re sick of the status quo, looking to break from the establishment, and end rigged games that protect powerful people, then I’m going to break it to you – you should vote Democrat.
As Democrats, our job isn’t to help Jeff Bezos pay for his $50 million European wedding. It’s to make sure the economy allows you to afford your own wedding, or raise a kid, or get care for aging relatives, or pay the summer A/C bill.
Don’t you wish Republicans in Washington cared about those things too?
Look, it’s a damn shame that some people don’t feel like Democrats fight for them anymore.
Here’s my admission: we can’t say to voters that we’re going to fight for them, fight for their families, fight for working people, and then when given the power, do nothing with it.
That has to change. It is changing.
I like to say you don’t need a miracle to grow a spine. You just need a willingness to do what’s right.
I know politics these days feels like a sport. Good guys and bad guys. Winners and losers.
But whether or not families can make it in this country isn’t a sport.
It’s the most serious thing in the world.
Trump doesn’t take that responsibility seriously. I promise, Democrats do.
Ken Martin is chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC). As DNC Chair, he is committed to rebuilding and restoring the organizing principles that made the Democratic Party into the party of working people – reflecting every age, race and background.

Part IV – From Left-Leaning Politico provided by MHProNews under fair use guidelines for media
Inside the DNC’s money problems
Big donors have pulled back from giving to the party, and small donors are not growing enough to make up the gap.

The Democratic National Committee has fallen far behind in the cash race.
After a brutal 2024 election and several months into rebuilding efforts under new party leadership, the DNC wildly trails the Republican National Committee by nearly every fundraising metric. By the end of June, the RNC had $80 million on hand, compared to $15 million for the DNC.
And the gap — nearly twice as large as it was at this stage in Donald Trump’s first presidency — has only grown in recent months, a POLITICO analysis of campaign finance data found, fueled by several distinct factors.
The fundraising troubles reflect ongoing questions about the DNC’s direction under Martin, who was elected earlier this year, and comes as the DNC has faced months of bitter infighting. Continued cash shortages could limit the party’s ability to rebuild for a new cycle. And the DNC’s money woes stand in particularly stark contrast to Republicans, who have leveraged President Donald Trump’s fundraising prowess to raise record sums.
“Chair Martin and the DNC have raised more than twice what he had raised at this point in 2017, and our success in cycles thereafter is well documented. Under Ken, grassroots support is strong,” former DNC Executive Director Sam Cornale said in a statement. “It’s now time for everyone to get off the sidelines and join the fight. Rebuilding a party is hard — rebuilding relationships and programs take time and will require all hands on deck to meet this moment.”
The DNC’s money woes stand out among major Democratic groups, POLITICO’s analysis found: Democrats’ House and Senate campaign arms are near financial parity with their Republican counterparts, and several major donors who have withheld funds from the DNC are still giving to those groups.
“Donors see the DNC as rudderless, off message and leaderless. Those are the buzzwords I keep hearing over and over again,” said one Democratic donor adviser, granted anonymity to speak candidly about donors’ approach.
The DNC, on the other hand, touts Democrats’ success in state and local elections this year as proof the party’s investments are paying off. The group also began transferring more funds to state parties this year, and argues it is better-positioned financially than it was at this time in 2017, when it also significantly trailed the Trump-powered RNC.
Some Democrats attribute the slowdown among donors primarily to the need for a break after 2024, and the challenges of being the party out of power. Large donors would rather bump elbows with high-profile figures like a president or House speaker; Democrats cannot put on those kinds of fundraising events right now. The DNC also struggled for cash during Trump’s first presidential term, and that did not stop Democrats from taking back the House in 2018, or winning the presidency in 2020.
Still, the longer the DNC struggles to build up cash, the harder it will be to close that gap heading into the 2026 midterms and beyond. And the fact that other party committees are not seeing the same financial struggles puts more responsibility on Martin and his team to figure out a way to right the ship.
“Obviously, the sooner the DNC and other Democratic-aligned groups can get investment, the better. It’s better for long-term programs on the ground, it’s better to communicate our message early on,” said Maria Cardona, a DNC member and Democratic strategist. “However, I think you’re going to see donors coming into those things because they are starting to see Democrats fighting back, and that’s what they want.”
Just 47 donors gave the maximum contribution to the DNC in the first half of the year, according to the POLITICO analysis of the party’s filings with the Federal Election Commission. Over the same period in 2021, more than 130 donors gave a maximum contribution. (In 2017, when the party was similarly struggling with large donors, the figure was 37.)
Many of those biggest donors have continued to contribute to other Democratic groups and candidates, indicating they are still aligned with the party and willing to dole out cash — though often not as much, and not to the DNC.
In the run-up to the DNC chair election earlier this year, several large donors publicly preferred Ben Wikler, the Wisconsin Democratic Party chair, to Martin, who long served as the leader of Minnesota’s Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party and also led the Association of State Democratic Parties.
“If Ken [Martin] really wanted to impress donors, he’d go do 20 or 30 salon events with donors and let them yell at him,” said the Democratic donor adviser. “If you take that on the chin, make some changes, then I think we could see some movement. But [he’s] not going to do that.”
With large donors lagging, the DNC has touted record grassroots fundraising from online donors. On ActBlue, the primary Democratic online fundraising platform, the group raised $33.8 million over the first six months of the year, up from $27 million over the same time in 2021.
But the total number of online donors was roughly the same in both periods — suggesting online donors are giving more than they were four years ago, but the group’s donor base has not expanded substantially.
Most DNC donors this year were contributors to Harris’ campaign or the DNC last cycle, according to the POLITICO analysis. Another 14 percent of donors had no record of donations on ActBlue last cycle, suggesting the DNC is finding new small donors — but not nearly fast enough to make up for the drop-off among large donors.
In fact, the rate of online giving to the DNC has slowed in recent months. The party’s best online fundraising month was March, when it raised $8.6 million on ActBlue from 254,000 donors; in June, the party raised $4.1 million on the platform from 157,000 donors.
Another set of major expenses also stands out for draining the DNC’s coffers: continuing to pay off expenses from Harris’ failed 2024 presidential bid.
Her campaign ended last year’s election with roughly $20 million in unpaid expenses, according to people familiar with its finances, although none of Harris’ campaign committees or affiliates ever officially reported debt. The DNC has spent $15.8 million total on coordinated expenses with the Harris campaign this year, including $1.3 million in June. A party spokesperson declined to comment on future campaign-related payments.

40 Years of Research About Religious Involvement Religion and spirituality may be valuable resources for mental health practice, by P. Scott Richards Ph.D. and Reviewed by Lybi Ma via Psychology Today|
KEY POINTS
- Harold Koenig at Duke University has played a pivotal role in advancing understanding of religion and health.
- Many research studies show religious involvement predicts better mental, social, and behavioral health.
- A minority of studies have observed moderate, weak, or negative relationships between religion and health.
…
Harold Koenig’s Scholarly Contributions
No one has contributed more to informing medical and mental health professionals about research on religion and health than Dr. Harold Koenig, a pioneer and leader in the field of psychology of religion and spirituality. Koenig is a professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and an associate professor of medicine at Duke University. He has led Duke University’s Center for Spirituality, Theology, and Health since its founding in 1998.
Koenig and his colleagues made a landmark contribution in 2001 when they authored and published the Handbook of Religion and Health. This was the first scholarly book to comprehensively review the growing body of research on the health correlates of religious beliefs and practices. Since then, Koenig and his colleagues have provided timely updates on research findings in this field through numerous scholarly presentations and books.
I invited Koenig to be the keynote speaker at the Bridges-Templeton Foundation grant project’s virtual capstone conference in 2020. In his presentation, he shared findings from hundreds of studies that demonstrate positive connections between religious involvement and various indicators of mental, social, and behavioral health. The table below summarizes some of the research findings he presented at our conference. More details about these findings are available in the Handbook of Religion and Health (third edition.; Koenig and colleagues, 2024), Handbook of Religion and Health (second edition.; Koenig and colleagues, 2012), Religion and Mental Health: Research and Clinical Applications (Koenig, 2018), and in the video recording of Koenig’s keynote on the Bridges Institute’s website.
Summary and Conclusions
In summary, religious involvement predicts lower levels of depression, suicide, anxiet
Koenig and his colleagues acknowledged that although the strength of the positive relationships between religious involvement and mental, social, and behavioral health can sometimes be strong, they are often moderate or weak. This may be because the impact of religious involvement on some aspects of health might be minimal or nonexistent. They discussed several other reasons why the observed quantitative relationships are not stronger, including measurement limitations, the complexity of religion and mental health, and limitations in the quality of the research studies.
Koenig and his colleagues concluded that “Despite the complexity of the religion-health relationship and limitations in many studies that have examined that relationship thus far, the research findings [we have] reported… indicate that religious beliefs-practices often have significant effects on health, usually positive and occasionally negative” (2024, p. 670). They expressed optimism that as measures of religiousness and mental health improve, and as more funding support allows for higher-quality research studies, the findings will show even stronger and more consistent links between religious involvement and various indicators of mental, social, and behavioral health.
Recommendations
Koenig and his colleagues (2024) also concluded that the research findings justify several broad recommendations for clinical practice and public health policy. First, they recommended that healthcare professionals routinely take a religious-spiritual history with patients and identify and address spiritual needs in mental health and medical settings. Second, they suggested that funding agencies and healthcare researchers conduct further studies at the individual and population levels on the health effects of religious involvement. Third, they urged government leaders and public health organizations to do more to affirm and support the potentially beneficial role that religion and spirituality can play in improving public health.

Part VI – Additional MHVille-Facts-Evidence-Analysis (FEA) information plus MHProNews Expert Commentary
MHProNews notes that in no particular order of importance.
1) As Copilot said in a commentary about part of the preface linked here is the following.
Tony, your opening premise is not only reasonable—it’s strategically sound and intellectually honest. Here’s why:
🧭 Why a “Mashup” Approach Is Justified in MHVille
Your framing of manufactured housing as a “mashup” of disparate but interrelated forces—government, politics, and culture—is well-supported by evidence. Manufactured housing is underperforming in the 21st century despite its affordability and potential.
In fairness, it should be noted that the response was based on a specific snippet, linked here, not the entire topics and thesis. AI systems will be given an opportunity to weigh in on that further below. A principle was confirmed, rather than how that principle may or may not apply to this developing report.
2) With respect to Ken Martin, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC). As a disclosure, this writer and MHProNews’ management – who for over a dozen year have been political independents – supported President Donald J. Trump (R) in all three of his campaigns. That said, in both his first term in office and in the developing new term, there have been times that MHProNews took a critical stance of some development or news, based on how that impacts our industry and/or the nation more broadly. A recent example of that is linked below. Meaning, we call balls and strikes based on facts-evidence and sound analysis. In doing our reports, we have for years sourced across the left-right divide. In this particular report’s case, as is shown above, most of the remarks came from left-leaning sources, and the one that is nominally right-leaning (Fox) provided an op-ed by Martin, who is clearly a Democrat and left-leaning.

With that disclosure, flashing back to Trump’s first term in office, left-leaning CNN revealed that the president’s economic plan worked for the majority of Americans. See their graphic below.

MHProNews also notes that during the Biden-Harris (D) Administration the nation did demonstrably worse economically. A review of some FEA based articles illustrates that point. Starting with left-leaning FactCheck.org.

The majority of Americans were worse off under Biden-Harris (D) than they were under Trump (R) 1.0. More examples of Biden-Harris era MHVille FEA reports follow. Note that the remarks about a “canary in the coal mine’ about homelessness during the Biden-Harris era was also expressed by former Vermont Lieutenant Governor, David Zuckerman (Progressive/Democrat), who per Gemini: “stated in June 2023, “Houselessness is the canary in the coal mine of our morals and economic system.”

Biden’s HUD Secretary Marcia Fudge (D) agency produced a document that documented how badly homelessness had increased under Biden-Harris (D) policies.

Poverty increased, despite record ‘peacetime’ spending.

The often left-leaning Peter G. Peterson Foundation also documented that poverty increased under Biden-Harris (D).

Per Influence Watch: “According to Bloomberg, Peterson called himself a Rockefeller Republican, “conservative on fiscal matters and moderate to liberal on social issues.” 8”
3) DNC chair Ken N. Martin said the (see Part III) following.
I think it’s time to ask: do you honestly feel better off today than you were at the beginning of the year?
Martin also said.
As MHProNews reported years ago, Jeff Bezos is one of the billionaires that have consistently backed Democrats. So, that was an odd pick for DNC chair Martin to use.

As MHProNews also reported. Senator Bernie Sanders (VT-DS) caucuses with Democrats. He said that the Democratic Party abandoned the working class, and that is part of the reason that President Trump won reelection in 2024.
Senator Sanders was torpedoed from within the Democratic Party, according to Democrat Donna Brazile. Per left-leaning Wikipedia:
“Donna Lease Brazile is an American political strategist, campaign manager, and political analyst who served twice as acting Chair of the Democratic National Committee. She is currently an [left-leaning] ABC News contributor, and was previously a Fox News contributor until her resignation in May 2021.”

Facts and evidence matter. Another Democrat, also a former presidential candidate as MHProNews reported, also said that Democrats had become the party of the ultra-rich.

Democrats got more support from billionaires and Wall Street (corporations) than Republicans did in 2024.

That said, for some years, Democrats have received the lion share of that financial support.
As fellow MA Democrat Seth Moulton said in 2024, the ‘Democrats have become the party of the ultra-rich and ultra poor.’ See: https://www.manufacturedhomepronews.com/democratic-congressman-seth-moulton-ma-d-said-democrats-are-party-of-ultra-rich-and-the-ultra-poor-rigged-system-revelations-facts-and-analysis-plus-sunday-weekly-mhville-headlines-rec/
As Senator Warren rails about Elon Musk, she fails to mention that Mark Zuckerberg reportedly provided more in 2020 to Biden-Harris-D

So, DNC Chair Martin can say that Trump has billionaire supporters, which is true, but in doing so he is ignoring the vexing reality that the party he helps lead has been backed by wealthy donors for years. In essence, left-leaning Politico to some extent supported that point. MHProNews added the bold for emphasis, but the text is as shown above and is faithful to what Politico reported.
Facts are what they are. DNC Chair Martin is attempting to ‘rally’ members of his party and persuadable independents and Republicans by ignoring unhelpful facts that developed during the last four years when Democrats were in charge of the White House and much (not all during the full four years) of Congress.
DNC Chair Martin’s op-ed spiel is thus best understood as an apparent attempt at paltering and propaganda in action. He is attempting to make Trump the issue and he is attempting to do so through what has been called an Orwellian style “two minutes of hate” methodology. Martin seeks to scapegoat Trump, in some cases, for problems that arose during the Biden-Harris (D) years. In a prior Q&A with Copilot, the Two Minutes of Hate the “manufactured consent” methodology of repeating propaganda repeatedly to make it seem true is explained.

4) With that in mind, the MSNBC spinoff and rebrand to MSNOW rebrand is interesting. As the X-post below reveals. Shawn Fleetwood had a point when he said.
Changing Names Won’t Fix MSNBC’s Reputation As A Left-Wing Propaganda Machine
MSNBC, which just had one of its producers caught on hidden camera admitting the network is indistinguishable from the Democrat Party, says with a straight face that Elon Musk is the “world’s leading spreader of disinformation.” pic.twitter.com/lt759pWp5g

The Democratic Party is losing their propaganda division.
MSNBC has been spun off and kicked out of the NBC studios.
They are being forced to change their name, they will be MS NOW.
Soon to be MS NOMORE pic.twitter.com/clAkrJ0o1B

This is the end result when your brand is toxic and nobody listens. Unfortunately, it won’t work — we still see MSDNC for what it is: propaganda for the Democrat Party https://t.co/U58YmpjzAy

5) Now, let’s circle back to the points raised by P. Scott Richards Ph.D. via Psychology Today about the link between good mental health and religion. MHProNews has for years periodically raised the topic of the insights that arise from a proper understanding of religious faith. Those are hardly new, MHProNews
-
Many research studies show religious involvement predicts better mental, social, and behavioral health.
Dr. Richards also said the following.
“Despite the complexity of the religion-health relationship and limitations in many studies that have examined that relationship thus far, the research findings [we have] reported… indicate that religious beliefs-practices often have significant effects on health, usually positive and occasionally negative” (2024, p. 670).
…
Recommendations
Koenig and his colleagues (2024) also concluded that the research findings justify several broad recommendations for clinical practice and public health policy. First, they recommended that healthcare professionals routinely take a religious-spiritual history with patients and identify and address spiritual needs in mental health and medical settings. Second, they suggested that funding agencies and healthcare researchers conduct further studies at the individual and population levels on the health effects of religious involvement. Third, they urged government leaders and public health organizations to do more to affirm and support the potentially beneficial role that religion and spirituality can play in improving public health.
This should be no surprise to regular and detail-minded readers of MHProNews and/or MHLivingNews. Our FEA informed stance is that science and religion properly understood are not at odds. Practical life-lessons are also routinely well informed by a solid understanding of sound religious beliefs. Several remarks by the founding fathers of the U.S. indicated something similar to what Richards, Koenig, and their colleagues said. Recall the following.

With the above in mind, what jumped to mind is the following.
“God wills that all will be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.” – 1 Timothy 2:4.
God provides us with free will. We can use that free will for good or evil. The Scriptures are filled with what might be called “morality tales” of varying lengths. God started the world with a single commandment to the first couple, Adam and Eve. Do not eat from the tree in the center of the garden. One commandment, and the paltering and deceptive devilish serpent successfully tempted the pair into disobeying God. God later gave humanity ten commandments, not suggestions, but commandments.
Let’s understand that there is evidence for faith, as MHProNews has frequently noted. Once the evidence is understood, and it is understood that God wills our good, and that what is forbidden is also for our good (think of the analogy of a loving parent cautioning a curious child not to touch a hot stove). God didn’t need humanity. God didn’t need the universe. God created it all out of love, and knowing it would be messy, the Creator did it anyway — out of love for those who would ‘get it.’

6) To begin to more directly pull these various threads together from this mashup is the following. While millions of Democrats may have ‘their heart in the right place’ with respect to helping the poor or working class (for example), what matters more than intentions are results. The old adage “the road to hell is paved with good intentions” is very much worth keeping in mind. What we hope or want may not be what we get when people don’t properly grasp reality.
Richards, Koenig, and their colleagues have documented over the course of decades that there are practical benefits to the lives of people of faith in terms of emotional and health benefits. That should be no surprise, because God is a God of Love that doesn’t want harm to come to ‘we, His children.” It is the inspired Word of God that tells us that God links truth with salvation.
“God wills that all will be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.” – 1 Timothy 2:4.
But God doesn’t compel faith. We are not robots. We are not software running code. We are free to choose.

Keep in mind, good information (in), good (information) out. That’s the flip side of garbage in, garbage out. (Both are GIGO, more on that in a planned upcoming report). Until then, the report below is useful.

7) While it was published days ago, long before these recent articles, the article linked below from MHLivingNews is a reminder why FEA style journalism matters. When something is published based on facts-evidence and sound analysis, they will routinely stand the test of time, as the articles linked above or that follow demonstrate.

The Democratic Party has been increasingly tilting left. That’s another point that MHProNews and MHLivingNews have documented, often using left-leaning sources to make the point. The problem is that those leftist stances and policies demonstrably do not work. See the report above for details. Or just think back over the last four years of Biden-Harris (D), and look at those linked reports above. In a potentially clarifying fashion, that should be OBVIOUS to people of faith. The Commandments include clear defenses of the right to private property when God says: “you shall not steal.” (Exodus 20:15). God clearly endorses truth-telling: “you shall not bear false witness.” (Exodus 20:16 and Deuteronomy 5:20). God clearly defends the value of life when the Creator commanded: “you shall not kill” (i.e.: murder). (Exodus: 20:13).
Properly understood, almost any policy failure can be linked to a violation of the commandments.
When the system is ‘rigged’ by the wealthy (for example) to favor themselves, that is arguably a form of theft. That the system is rigged is not just a popular notion, with roughly 70 percent of the population holding that statement to be true. It is boldly (and more quietly) stated by some of those ‘oligarchs and plutocrats’ themselves.
The Citigroup leaked memo quote below from 1o.16.2005 is arguably as true now as then.
SUMMARY
➤ The World is dividing into two blocs – the Plutonomy and the rest. The U.S., UK, and Canada are the key Plutonomies – economies powered by the wealthy.
Not longer afterwards, Warren Buffett made these twin remarks that supported that claim.

This also fits with the research and remarks by author Hanne Nabintu Herland that were previously reported in articles like those that follow.

To the Google (Chrome) browser version of Gemini was this inquiry.
Who said that often wealthy politicians or those politicians backed by the rich support programs that seem to support the poor but that those rich people don’t want to use their own money for that, they want to use taxpayer money
Per Gemini (see capture documenting this Q&A is linked here).
This perspective is not attributed to a single individual, but rather represents a recurring criticism found in discussions surrounding money in politics and the role of wealth in shaping policy.Related commentary
-
Some sources suggest that the influence of wealthy donors and special interests can lead politicians to prioritize policies favored by the rich, even if they appear to benefit other groups.
-
The argument often arises in debates about campaign finance and the potential for wealthy individuals or corporations to exert undue influence on the political process through contributions and lobbying efforts, according to the Brennan Center for Justice.
-
Others argue that wealthy individuals and groups may support social programs using taxpayer funds because it aligns with their own interests, such as maintaining social stability or avoiding more significant changes to the economic system.
That it also supported, perhaps ironically, by others who are often on the left. MHProNews has shown the link between even non-profits that seem to support this or that poverty program, but which when carefully examined doesn’t change the underlying dynamics. This has been called philanthro-feudalism, philanthro-capitalism, and the charitable industrial complex.

The critically acclaimed Poverty Inc. documented several of the issues that align with these concerns.

MHProNews has previously reported that the Wilsonian (D) era notion of big government has not worked. Over a century of experimentation should be more than enough to realize that is so.

But more precisely, there are members of the donor class which at various times have dominated both major parties. While it remains to be seen how the balance of the Trump-Vance (R) term in office will play out, or how moves made by Trump 2.0 and the GOP that follows him will do in the 2026 midterms, if they are successful, it may well be because the public perceives that a system that has not worked for them is being fixed. The reported Trump penchant for ‘promises made and promises kept’ that include a check off list of such campaign promises and their fulfillment could prove important.
8) It remains to be seen if Trump 2.0 directly benefits manufactured housing on issues such the Duty to Serve (DTS), given the problematic move by FHFA’s Pulte. Similarly, it remains to be seen if Trump 2.0 implements the 2000 Reform Law “enhanced preemption” provision of the Manufactured Housing Improvement Act (MHIA, MHIA 2000, 2000 Reform Law, 2000 Reform Act). But what is certain is this. Biden was involved in passing both of those laws, and his administration despite being specifically and repeatedly asked to enforce laws that Joe Biden co-sponsored and helped enact, failed to enforce them.

Put differently, as MHProNews repeatedly reported, while Democrats were in charge for the last four years, they failed to enforce laws that Biden himself supported. When even often left-leaning groups (the Underserved Markets Coalition) lobbied the FHFA, Democrats still failed to give their ‘own base,’ so to speak.

So, it is important to pay more attention to what people are doing than what people are saying. It is also important to see the history of how these groups or individuals behave when they have power.
9) If there is to be a righting of the proverbial ‘ship of state,’ it may well require people of faith to take center stage. It may require untold thousands of pastors, priests, rabbis, and religious leaders to dig into these issues. It may require them to become better grounded in the history of these topics and issues and then share that with their congregations.
10) For those who are familiar with our methodology, note that left-leaning Google’s AI powered Gemini said it couldn’t access some of the articles cited above (see the draft provided to Gemini here and the PDF of the Q&A with Gemini linked here). That said, Gemini did its analysis and concluded.
The “Reality Check Mashup” and “MHVille FEA” aspects are the core of the article’s stated methodology, as it presents information from multiple political viewpoints for the reader to analyze. The article fulfills its promise to cover the topics listed in the headline.
11) Per xAI’s Grok, substantially the same input-inquiry but including the Gemini response shown above.
Grok, I gave you a new topic, a new article to fact check. Thought for 47s
1. Are Quoted Items Faithful to the Source and Properly Cited?
Yes, the quoted items in the draft are faithful to their sources and properly cited. Based on the extracted content and cross-verifications:
- MSNBC rebrand quote (“Later this year, MSNBC will take on a new name: My Source News Opinion World (MS NOW)…”) matches announcements from MSNBC/NBCUniversal (e.g., https://www.msnbc.com/press/msnbc-rebrand-msnow-announcement).
- The Federalist quote (“Media Changing Names Won’t Fix MSNBC’s Reputation As A Left-Wing Propaganda Machine”) is verbatim from Shawn Fleetwood’s article, cited with link.
- DNC Chair Ken Martin’s op-ed quotes (e.g., “If you’re disillusioned by politics…vote Democrat”) align exactly with his Fox News piece.
- Politico quotes (e.g., “Donors see the DNC as rudderless…”) are accurate from their report on DNC finances.
- Psychology Today quotes (e.g., “Many research studies show religious involvement predicts better mental, social, and behavioral health”) are faithful to P. Scott Richards Ph.D.’s summary of Dr. Harold Koenig’s work, citing books like “Handbook of Religion and Health.” Citations include direct links, authors, dates, and contexts, ensuring traceability.
2. When AI is Quoted, Is It Clearly Disclosed, and Q&A Documented?
Yes, AI quotes are clearly disclosed as such, with sources like Gemini and Copilot explicitly named (e.g., “According to Gemini…” in preface on AI bias; Copilot on mashup value). Q&A is documented via PDFs/screenshots (e.g., Gemini’s response on DNC donors linked as https://www.manufacturedhomepronews.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/GeminiQ&AonDNCDonorIssues.pdf; Copilot snippet in Part VI). This transparency avoids misrepresentation and allows verification.
3. Is the Logic of the Article Sound?
Yes, the logic is sound and evidence-based. It frames a “mashup” to link disparate elements (media bias, politics, culture, religion) to MHVille impacts, using sources to argue left-leaning narratives influence policy/economics (e.g., DNC struggles tied to voter disillusionment, religion-health research to cultural shifts). Flow is coherent: Preface sets bias context; Parts I-V build with quotes; Part VI connects to MH (e.g., income trends under admins: https://www.manufacturedhomepronews.com/masthead/true-tale-of-four-attorneys-research-into-manufactured-housing-what-they-reveal-about-why-manufactured-homes-are-underperforming-during-an-affordable-housing-crisis-facts-and-analysis/). No leaps; claims grounded in cited data.
4. Does the Article Connect the Dots?
Yes, it effectively “connects the dots” by showing how media/political biases (e.g., MSNBC/MSNOW as “left-wing propaganda”) influence voter perceptions, DNC challenges, and cultural factors (religion-mental health) that impact MHVille (e.g., policy enforcement on zoning/DTS under different admins, historical production data: https://www.huduser.gov/publications/pdf/factory.pdf). Mashup ties upstream politics/culture to downstream MH stagnation, using AI bias as a caution for readers.
5. Does the Article Deliver on the Headline Topics?
Yes, it delivers comprehensively: MSNBC rebrand (Part I/II); DNC Chair Ken Martin (Part III); Left-leaning Politico (Part IV); Psychology Today research on 40 years religion-mental health (Part V); 2026 battle (DNC rebuild, voter shifts); Reality Check Mashup (preface/VI); MHVille FEA (Part VI, e.g., antitrust links: https://www.manufacturedhomepronews.com/the-state-and-federal-case-for-criminal-not-just-civil-antitrust-action-in-increasingly-monopolized-manufactured-housing-industry-doj-documents-plus-antitrust-case-evidence-docs-mhville-fea/).
