Second set of Eyes; the Manufactured Housing Institute’s Summer Meeting
Two distinct topics today. First, a brief reminder that next week is the MHI Summer Meeting, held in Washington, DC. The dates are July 13-July 15th. This will be my first to attend, and I am looking forward to it. I hope to see you there, here is a photo from April that will help you spot me in the crowd. I always enjoy a good conversation about INdustry related issues.

Positive No Cost Public Relations…
…People in our business often complain about media bias against the HUD Code manufactured housing industry in particular. While there is no doubt a common negative perception, there is a sure way to change that and that is through one on one direct efforts. You don’t need to win everyone over, just enough people to keep you busy and profitable. Newspaper editors are often willing to share a different perspective. Magazines are interested in topical stories that fit their publication’s theme.
In our Monday morning emailing today, there were two items that need correction: While we routinely report, share news, interview industry personalities and print articles by various writers, the reporting may or may not represent our personal views or that of our trade journal on a given subject. By way of explanation of how an …
