Housing Boom!

Saturday morning, February 2nd, a Forbes on Fox panelist predicted 25% growth in housing stocks in the next six months.

One analyst gave a strong thumbs up for Berkshire Hathaway (BH), echoed by another analyst. Our readers know that BH is parent to Clayton Homes, other factory-home builders and a number of housing suppliers.

Nor is Berkshire Hathaway alone. Cavco is doing well and a report by them to shareholders revealed that two strong sectors for them are seniors and the young.  

Given the quality and price points possible for manufactured housing, the reasons are many why this looming housing boom should be so!

  • 20 million new homes are needed to keep up with population growth between now and 2030.
  • 10,000 seniors are retiring daily.
  • Among the facts Forbes on Fox reported that 48% of new college grads are working in jobs that don't require a college degree.
  • The young and aging alike need quality, affordable, money-saving homes! That is what we factory-built pros offer.

A senior exec with Fairmont Homes was telling me at Louisville that it is past time for us to stop being the best kept secret in housing. We at MHProNews agree.

  • We have the associations in place that can protect you and help guide you through the regulatory maze. Focus on driving business, by following your state/regional/national association's advice and being part of their grass roots efforts.
