“James Dimon is an American business executive. He is chairman, president, and chief executive officer of JPMorgan Chase, the largest of the big four American banks,” says Wikipedia.
James “Jaime” Dimon is calling for a tax cut and overhaul, in order to make American businesses more competitive in a tough global economy.
“JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon explains why he’s hesitant to get involved in politics after previously supporting Hillary Clinton,” said NBC News.
So the video report below, courtesy of left-of-center Bloomberg, shouldn’t be seen as much as a pro-Trump policy statement as it is Dimon’s considered belief that the policies he advocates for would benefit Americans and American businesses.
As the Daily Business News has previously reported, the House passed their version of the tax reform bill. The NFIB and others support the tax cut/overhaul measure, which if it passes the Senate, will then go to the House/Senate conference committee to reconcile the two versions of the legislation.
If in doubt about who your two senators are, MH Industry members can go to the link below to find yours. Email addresses are routinely provided on senators websites.
“Alternatively, you may phone the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121. A switchboard operator will connect you directly with the Senate office you request,” says the Senate.gov website.
