Depending on the radio stations you listen to, or what cable news someone watches, the media coverage of the Trump administration has routinely been withering.
With the midterms about 10 weeks out, and early voting starting sooner than that, what has the seemingly incessant onslaught of salacious reports done to evangelical support of President Donald J. Trump?
Donald Trump is not a perfect Christian, said Pastor Robert Jeffress in the video interview posted below. But the evangelical pastor stresses these are still unproven allegations, and regardless, he and one pastor after another find the president’s policies to be excellent. Jeffress also says that he still preaches every Sunday against the kinds of sins that the president is accused of committing.
Evangelicals – along with blue collar workers, small businesses, and others – will be a key part of the alliance necessary for the GOP to hold the U.S. House and expand their seats in the Senate in the upcoming midterms. The video is also insightful for professionals trying to get a sense of a meeting with evangelicals that got very little mainstream coverage. ## (News, analysis, and commentary.)
