The Yahoo Manufactured Housing Composite Value (MHCV) gained more than any of the three major indexes, moving up +1.73 percent, to close at 678.4. More tracked manufactured housing stocks closed up, than down, and they gained more than stocks that lost, lost. Cavco Industries moved up the most of tracked stocks, adding +4.73 percent, and Patrick Ind. gained +2.78 percent, while Louisiana Pacific Industries fell more than other stocks, -1.48 percent.
While on the Big Board:
The Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up +0.40 percent, +72.17 points, to end the day at 18,110.14.
The NASDAQ slipped -0.10 percent, -4.83 points, to close at 5,055.42.
The S&P 500 edged up +0.28 percent, +5.84 points, to end at 2,114.76.
