MHCV Moves Up, Nobility Homes Advances Sharply, while Dow & Friends Slip

stock_report_June_2In the News: Bidding for lunch with Warren Buffett moves above $1 million, healthcare companies looking to cash in on aging boomers while corporate America tries to get their children to buy other goods, Congress is to blame for the disparity in income inequality, and auto sales in May were stronger than expected.

Meanwhile, the Yahoo Manufactured Housing Composite Value (MHCV) gained +1.99 percent, to close at 673.3. Manufactured housing stocks we cover closed mixed or even. Nobility Homes advanced nicely, +4.35 percent, while Carlyle Group took a dive, losing -4.74 percent.

On the Big Board:

The Dow Jones Industrial Average nudged down -0.16 percent, -28.43 points, to end at 18,011.94. The five day average is down -0.16.

The NASDAQ moved down -0.13 percent, -6.40 points, to close at 5,076.53.

The S&P 500 also slipped, -0.10 percent, -2.13 points, to end at 2,109.60.
