Louisiana Pacific takes the High Road, as Skyline Drops

The Dow Jones Industrial Average moved up +87.28 points, +0.53 percent, to finish at 16,448.74. The Nasdaq edged down -1.16 points, -0.03 percent, to end the day at 4,074.40 while the S&P advanced +6.03 points, +0.32 percent, to 1,869.43, as CNNMoney tells MHProNews. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite fell -2.50 percent to close at 698.10. Tracked housing stocks closed mixed or even in today’s trading. Louisiana Pacific Corp. was the biggest gainer of stocks we follow, nudging up +2.95 percent, +0.46 points, to end the trading day at 50.97. Skyline Corp. dropped the most of tracked stocks, -3.40 percent, -0.18 points, to close at 5.11. Affiliated Managers Group 179.52 -2.97 (-1.63%). Cavco Industries 77.43 -0.19 (-0.25%).
