According to the Manufactured Housing Association of Regulatory Reform (MHARR), per official statistics compiled on behalf of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), “year-over-year manufactured housing industry production grew once again during July 2017.”
“Just-released statistics indicate that HUD Code manufacturers produced 5,803 homes in July 2017, an 8.7% increase over the 5,335 HUD Code homes produced during July 2016,” MHARR told MHProNews in a release.
“Cumulative industry production for 2017 now totals 52,405 homes, a 15.9% increase over the 45,204 HUD Code homes produced over the same period in 2016,” MHARR’s statement said.
The report also states that, “A further analysis of the official industry statistics shows that the top ten shipment states from the beginning of the industry production rebound in August 2011 through July 2017 — with cumulative, monthly, current year (2017) and prior year (2016) shipments per category as indicated — are:”
