Deer Valley Corp. Falls; Dow, S&P hit New Highs

The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P both hit new highs, but settled down just below, as the Dow finished at 16,715.44 for the day, up +19.97 points, +0.12 percent, as CNNMoney tells MHProNews.com. The tech-heavy Nasdaq, however, slipped -13.69 points, -0.33 percent, to finish at 4,130.17, while the S&P closed at 1,897.45, nudging up +0.8 points, +0.04 percent. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite moved down -2.60 percent, to finish at 719. Tracked housing stocks closed mixed or even in today’s trading, although Third Avenue Value Fund (May 12) edged up the most of stocks we follow, +1.08 percent, +0.63 points to close at 58.97.
