Update of Manufactured Housing Community Delayed

Following a story we first posted Oct. 21, 2013 regarding the proposed redevelopment of Vineland Vista Mobile Home Park in St. Helena, California owned by Vintner Hall Wines, the Napa Valley Planning Commission has delayed approval of the modification because the old ordinance does not allow for multifamily modular housing. The 18 homesite community is currently unoccupied, says  napavalleyregister.com. Redevelopment would bring the community up to state standards, and Hall Wines wants the commission to change the ordinance so they can proceed with the update. MHProNews has learned, however, the commissioners want to wait until next month when the ordinance change will coincide with the process for adopting the county’s new Housing Element, which is scheduled to go before the commissioners Feb. 19.
