Three Major Indexes Move Little; Drew Draws the Best Hand

Investors stepped back from the market today, which had digested a good jobs report on Friday, sending all three indexes above one percent gains. But today, stocks drifted and moved very little. CNNMoney reports the Dow Jones Industrial Average nudged down -0.06 percent, -9.53 points, to close at 15,238.59. The Nasdaq gained +0.13 percent, +4.55 points, to end the day at 3,473.77, while the S&P dropped -0.03 percent, -0.57 points, to finish at 1,642.81. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite gained 1.52 percent to close at 1122.1. Housing stocks we track closed mixed or even, with Drew Industries advancing the most, +3.15 percent, +1.22, to close at 39.91. Skyline Corp. fell the most of stocks we follow, -1.88 percent, -0.08, to finish at 4.17. Affiliated Managers Group 168.50 +2.32 (+1.40%). Cavco Industries, Inc. 47.48 -0.32 (-0.67%). Champion, Liberty Homes and Palm Harbor continued unchanged. Deer Valley remained at 0.60. Clayton Homes, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as MH home-building, lending and other housing suppliers parent company Berkshire Hathaway 172,875 -25.00 (-0.01%). Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. 78.57 -0.74 (-0.93%). Louisiana Pacific Industries, Inc. 16.76 +0.03 (+0.18%). Nobility Homes remained unchanged at 7.10.
