Three Indexes, Housing Composite Slip; LPX Posts Nice Gain

Stocks edged down today as investors anxiously awaited corporate returns for the previous quarter. CNNMoney reports the Dow Jones Industrial Average nudged down -0.41 percent, -55.44 points, to end the day at 13,328.85. The Nasdaq dropped -0.23 percent, -7.00 points, to close at 3,091. 81, while the S&P lost -0.32 percent, -4.74 points, to close at 1,457.15. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite slipped -0.40 percent to close at 1246.7. Housing stocks we track closed mixed or even. Louisiana Pacific Industries gained the most of stocks we track, moving up +3.15 percent, +0.64, to end the day at 20.95. Skyline Corp. lost the most of tracked stocks, falling -2.95%, -0.13 to 4.27. Affiliated Managers Group 137.15 -0.15 (-0.11%). Cavco Industries, Inc. 49.31 -0.65 (-1.30%). Clayton Homes, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as MH home-building, lending and other housing suppliers parent company Berkshire Hathaway 141,000 +810. (+0.58%). Champion, Liberty Homes, Deer Valley and Palm Harbor continued unchanged. Drew Industries 33.39 +0.05 (+0.15%). Equity LifeStyle Properties 69.41 -0.14 (-0.20%).
