Sun Edges Up; Cavco, Dow, Nasdaq and S&P Slip

The Dow Jones Industrial Average managed to stay above the 17,000 mark, as it nudged down -44.05 points in today’s trading,-0.26 percent, to end at 17,024.21. As CNNMoney informs MHProNews, the Nasdaq slipped -34.40 points, -0.77 percent, to close at 4,451.53, while the S&P edged down -7.79 points, -0.39 percent, to end the day at 1,977.65. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite dropped -3.56 percent to close at 985.5. Stocks we cover closed mostly down or even, although Sun Communities, Inc. managed to inch up +0.22 percent, +0.11 points, to close at 50.16. Cavco Industries, Inc. slipped more than other stocks we track, -3.81 percent, -3.31 points, to close at 83.61. Affiliated Managers Group 206.65 -2.01 (-0.96%). Clayton Homes, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as MH home-building, lending and other housing suppliers parent company Berkshire Hathaway 193,000 -600.00 (-0.31%).
