Skyline Rises, UFPI falls; Dow Closing in on 17,000

After a day of jagged ups and downs, the Dow Jones Industrial Average continues to flirt with the 17,000 mark, as it moved up +20.17 points in today’s trading, +0.12 percent, to end at 16,976.24. As CNNMoney informs MHProNews, the Nasdaq slipped -0.92 points, -0.02 percent, to close at 4,457.73, while the S&P edged up +1.3 points, +0.07 percent, to end the day at 1,974.62. The Nasdaq gained the most, +1.14 percent, +50.47 points, to close at 4,458.65. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite edged down -0.46 percent to close at 1,021.3. Stocks we cover closed mostly mixed or even, with Skyline Corp. advancing the most, +3.61 percent, +0.15 points, to close at 4.30.
