Skyline Falls while Dow and S&P Set New Records

The Dow Jones and the S&P 500 both continued their climb, hitting new record highs as the three major indexes made modest gains in trading today. CNNMoney reports the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained +0.42 percent, +62.9 points, to end the day at 14,865.14, one percent shy of 16,000. The Nasdaq nudged up +0.09 percent, +2.91 points, to close at 3,300.16, while the S&P advanced +0.36 percent, +5.64 points, to end the day at 1,593.37. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite fell -0.35 percent to close at 1569.0. Housing stocks we track mostly closed up or even, with UMH gaining the most, moving up +2.94 percent, +0.32 points, to end today’s session at 11.20. Skyline Corp. fell the most of stocks we follow, dropping -4.29%, -0.21, to end the day at 4.68. Affiliated Managers Group 155.55 +1.54 (+1.00%). Cavco Industries 44.81 -0.17 (-0.38%). Clayton Homes, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as MH home-building, lending and other housing suppliers parent company Berkshire Hathaway 159,935 +535.00 (+0.34%). Champion, Liberty Homes, Deer Valley and Palm Harbor continued unchanged. Drew Industries 36.00 -0.25 (-0.69%). Equity LifeStyle Properties 80.45 +0.23 (+0.29%). Louisiana Pacific Industries 20.13 +0.13 (+0.65%). Nobility Homes remained unchanged at 5.65. Patrick Industries, Inc. 15.03 +0.09 (+0.60%). Sun Communities, Inc. 48.79 +0.45 (+0.93%).
