Nobility Spikes; Housing Composite, other Tracked Stocks Move Little

After falling to 13,320 earlier in the day and then climbing quickly to just over 13,360, CNNMoney says the Dow Jones Industrial Average finally settled for a very modest gain of +0.07 percent, +9.99 points, to end hump day at 13,333.35. The Nasdaq edged up +0.32 percent to 3,114.31, while the S&P gained +0.21 percent to 1,436.56. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite gained +1.90 percent to close at 1043.50. Housing stocks we track closed mixed or even. Nobility Homes advanced the most of tracked stocks, gaining +10.10%, +0.53, to close at 5.78. UMH Properties, Inc. edged down -0.77% to drop the most of stocks we follow, -0.09 points, to end the day at 11.59. Affiliated Managers Group 121.87 +0.62 (+0.51%). Cavco Industries 47.64 +0.95 (+2.03%). Clayton Homes, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as MH home-building, lending and other housing suppliers parent company Berkshire Hathaway 130,150 -20.00 (-0.02%). Champion, Liberty Homes, Deer Valley and Palm Harbor all remained unchanged. Drew Industries 29.50 -0.04 (-0.14%). Equity Lifestyle Properties 68.50 -0.09 (-0.13%).
