MHProNews.com has learned Altius RSA (Rapid Systems Architecture) has introduced their newest mini modular home, the Solo 40, 480 square feet for $195 a square foot. Constructed from natural, renewable, durable and recyclable materials, the home offers both passive and active sustainable strategies, which includes an Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) system that distributes fresh air throughout the interior. While it is available with solar power, it normally arrives within six weeks with water, sewer and electricity pre- assembled and ready to hook up. As jetsongreen.com reports, its green roof system arrives factory installed and pre-vegetated with a variety of plants, adding to storm water management and insulation.
