Fort, Myers, Florida-based Murex Properties has acquired the 273-homesite manufactured housing community (MHC) Ventura Lakes in Punta Gorda, FL for $12 million, in conjunction with Northwest Mutual. The 84-acre community was developed in 1998 and includes an 8,000 square-foot clubhouse with a library, fitness center, billiards room, stage, dance floor and other activities rooms. Outside is a heated pool, miniature golf, shuffleboard, bocce ball, horseshoes and a fishing dock. According to what naplesnews.com tells MHProNews.com, Ventura is the third MHC Murex has purchased with Northwest Mutual. Murex also provides management, marketing and maintenance services for communities in Oregon, Florida and Texas. ##
