CNNMoney reports the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced +88.85 points, +0.59 percent, to close at 15,224.69. The Nasdaq rose +0.16 percent, +5.45 points, to end the day at 3,484.83, while the S&P gained +0.53 percent, +8.57 points, to close at 1,640.46. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite rose +0.82 percent to end the session at 1151.3. Housing stocks we follow closed mixed or even, with Third Avenue Value Fund (July 5) notching the biggest gain of tracked stocks, +1.25 percent, +0.67 points, to finish the day at 54.37. Universal Forest Products, Inc. fell the most of stocks we track in today’s trading, falling -0.43 points, -1.07 percent, to close at 39.70. Affiliated Managers Group 165.52 +0.03 (+0.02%). Cavco Industries 51.00 +0.31 (+0.61%). Champion, Liberty Homes and Palm Harbor continued unchanged. Clayton Homes, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as MH home-building, lending and other housing suppliers parent company Berkshire Hathaway 172,500 +299.00 (+0.17%). Deer Valley remained unchanged at 0.64. Drew Industries, Inc. 41.11 +0.44 (+1.08%). Equity LifeStyle Properties 80.92 -0.34 (-0.41%). Louisiana Pacific Industries 15.37 +0.13 (+0.85%).
