Modular Plant Opens in Idaho

Following up on a story we published April 5, 2012 concerning ATCO Structures and Logistics of Alberta, Canada opening a modular production facility in Pocatello, Idaho, Manufacturing reports the Idaho State Journal says ATCO held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wed., June 27 attended by Pocatello Mayor Brian Blad and company CEO Nancy Southern. The modular workforce housing units produced by the 190 employees will be shipped to energy work sites around the world. As MHProNews.com has learned, noting the company’s goal to produce three units per day, plant manager David Cook said, “Ninety percent of the supplies we use come from companies in Idaho.”
