Canadian Company Expanding in U.S.

ATCO Structures and Logistics of Alberta, Canada, is opening its third plant in the U.S., a 200,000 square foot facility in Pocatello, Idaho to meet growing demands for its modular buildings, according to IndustryWeek. Over 150 plumbers, electricians, and carpenters, plus office staff and additional production workers will be employed when the facility opens in June 2012. MHProNews.com has learned ATCO is a multi-billion dollar company involved in various manufacturing industries with clients in over 100 countries and facilities on five continents. It began in 1947 providing modular housing to workers during Canada’s first oil boom, and continues to offer modular structures for commercial, industrial, educational, and residential applications.
