LPX Edges Up, Skyline Slips; Dow, Nasdaq and S&P Nudge Upward

The three indexes turned in a good but not great report of gains in today’s trading, as tech stocks pulled the averages up, according to what CNNMoney informs MHProNews.com. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 27.48 points, +0.16 percent, to end the day at 16,808.49. The Nasdaq moved up the most of the three majors, +16.12 points, +0.37 percent, to end at 4,337.23, while the S&P nudged up +4.21 points, +0.22 percent, to close at 1,941.99. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite edged up +3.52 percent to close at 765.6. Tracked stocks we cover closed mixed or even, with Louisiana Pacific Industries edging up more than any other, +1.84 percent, +0.27 points, to 14.93, while Skyline Corp. fell the most of stocks we follow, -0.15 points, -3.62 percent, to close at 3.99.
