The Jewish New Year is known as Rosh Hashanah. In 2019 that celebration began on the evening of Sunday, September 29, and runs through tonight, Tuesday Oct 1.
Manufactured housing has numerous people of Jewish ancestry or faith-practice. President Trump’s daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner are Jewish, as are millions of others.
Rosh Hashanah (Hebrew: רֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה), literally meaning the “head [of] the year”, is the …. Shofar blowing for Rosh Hashana, Ashkenaz version, says Wikipedia. It is also sometimes called “The Feast of Trumpets,” says the Indy Star.
This new video explains some of the practices.
“Rosh Hashanah really stands out in the Jewish calendar as a uniquely, not exclusively, Jewish holiday,” said Rabbi Menachem Creditor, scholar-in-residence at the UJA-Federation of New York. “This is a moment where Jews and non-Jews can really come together,” he told Inside Edition. “It’s an invitation to come together as a community way beyond any one of our tribes.” The two-day holiday marks the beginning of the Jewish High Holy Days. It’s followed by Yom Kippur ten days later.
Shanah Tovah, (Hebrew: שנה טובה; pronounced [ʃaˈna toˈva]), which translated from Hebrew means “[have a] good year.“
