Errata on Report of Canadian Builder Supplying Modular Homes to Japan

MHMSM.com acknowledges with regret errors in an earlier story, Canadian Company Sending Temporary Modular Units to Japan on May 13th.  A representative speaking for Viceroy Homes, Ltd., clarified that the company is providing 1000 temporary homes (not more), per order from the Japanese government. While they do hope and anticipate the government will order more units in the future, there is no promise or guarantee that they will.  In addition, Viceroy’s Japanese building partner, Selco Homes, is based in Sendai, Japan, not Richmond, Ontario. The housing units for Japan were manufactured at Viceroy’s factory in Richmond, British Columbia. Viceroy does not operate any facilities in Richmond, Ontario.
