Dow Remains Above 1300, Skyline Rises

CNNMoney reports Investors, buoyed by the upbeat jobs report and lower costs of borrowing in Spain and Italy, nudged the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 21.34 points, +0.16 percent, to end the day at 13,117.51. The Nasdaq moved up +0.74 percent to close at 2,989.91, while the S&P gained +0.23 percent to 1,394.23. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite gained +0.53 percent to close at 1022.4. Tracked housing stocks closed mixed, but Skyline Corp. managed a 3.25% gain, +0.15, to close at 4.77. Patrick Industries fell the most of our tracked stocks, dropping 1.29%, -0.17, to close at 4.77. Affiliated Managers Group 113.85 +0.86 (+0.76%). Cavco Industries 48.80 +0.21 (+0.43). Clayton Homes, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as MH home-building, lending and other housing suppliers parent company Berkshire Hathaway 127,811 -668.00 (-0.52%). Champion, Deer Valley, Liberty Homes and Palm Harbor Homes all remained unchanged. Drew Industries 28.71 -0.19 (-0.63%). Louisiana Pacific Corp. 11.45 +0.25 (+2.22%).
