Dow Reaches New High; Deer Valley Spikes

Strength in the health care sector sent the Dow to another record high, as all three indexes advanced in today’s trading. CNNMoney reports the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained +0.61 percent, +89.16 points, to close at 14,662.01. The Nasdaq moved up +0.48 percent, +15.69 points, to close at 3,254.86, while the S&P rose 0.52 percent, +8.08 points, to end the day at 1,570.25. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite fell -1.77 percent to close at 1607.2. Housing stocks we track closed mixed or even with Deer Valley gaining the most of tracked stocks, moving up +5.54 percent, +0.04 points, to end today’s session at 0.69. United Forest Products Inc. fell the most of stocks we follow, slipping -1.82%, -0.71 to end the day at 38.38. Affiliated Managers Group 152.38 +0.33 (+0.22%). Cavco Industries 46.22 -0.345 (-0.74%). Clayton Homes, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as MH home-building, lending and other housing suppliers parent company Berkshire Hathaway 157,550 +2,297.00 (+1.48%). Champion, Liberty Homes, and Palm Harbor continued unchanged. Drew Industries 35.89 -0.17 (-0.47%). Equity LifeStyle Properties 78.09 +0.73 (+0.94%).
