The Dow Jones Industrial Average crossed the line into 17k territory again today, but stopped short of a new record, as CNNMoney tells MHProNews, gaining +111.61 points, +0.66 percent, to end 17,055.42. The Nasdaq advanced +24.93 points, +0.56 percent to end at 4,440.42. The S&P nudged up +9.53 points, +0.48 percent to 1,977.10. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite edged up +0.35 percent to close at 874.4. Stocks we cover were not terribly active, and closed mixed or even. Universal Forest Products, Inc. nudged up the most, +1.49 percent, +0.68 points, to close at 49.40, while Skyuline Corp. slipped more than other stocks we track, -1.37 percent, -0.06 points, to close at 4.32.
