Reports of improvement in U.S. manufacturing sent the Dow Jones Industrial Average to its highest point in four years, gaining half a percentage point, +65.69 points, to close at 13,279.32. CNNMoney tells the Nasdaq moved up 0.13 percent to close at 3050.44, while the S&P also moved up, +0.57 percent to 1397.91. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite rose +2.97 percent to close at 1112.10. Housing stocks we track closed mixed.
