Bad Actor Charged in Modular Housing Scam

In a follow-up to a story we reported Nov. 11, 2011, CelebrityNewsandStyle says Lucius Foster, the estranged father of actress Jodie Foster, was charged with 25 counts of grand theft and ten counts of contracting without a license for allegedly bilking over 20 investors out of $5,000 each after promising to build them low cost modular houses. Appearing in a Los Angeles courtroom Dec.1, the 89 year-old Foster now faces twenty years in prison. Deputy City Attorney Dan Cocek, calling Foster a “liar and a cheat”, said he found his clients on Craigslist and had been scamming people for years. Foster left the family when his wife Evelyn was pregnant with Jodie.
