Patrick, Skyline Fall, Housing Composite Rises

Investors are cautiously awaiting corporate returns this week, keeping activity on the stock market low, although the three indexes did manage meager gains for the day. CNNMoney says the Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up +0.02 percent today, +2.38 points, to close at 13,345.89. The Nasdaq gained +0.38 percent, +11.34 points to close at 3016.96. The S&P +0.04 percent, +0.62 points to close at 1,433.81. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite moved up +2.59 percent to close at 1161.8. Housing stocks we track closed mixed or even. UMH gained the most of tracked stocks, +1.27% percent, +0.14, to close at 11.19. Patrick Industries fell the most of stocks we follow, -5.43%, -1.07, to end the day at 18.78. Affiliated Managers Group 124.69 +0.25 (+0.20%). Cavco Industries 45.89 -0.09 (-0.20%). Clayton Homes, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as MH home-building, lending and other housing suppliers parent company Berkshire Hathaway 132,609 -1,232.00 (-0.92%). Champion, Liberty Homes, Deer Valley and Palm Harbor all remained unchanged. Drew Industries 31.41 +0.18 (+0.58%). Equity LifeStyle Properties 67.48 -0.10 (-0.15%). Louisiana Pacific Corp. 15.46 -0.20 (-1.28%). Nobility Homes remained unchanged at 5.50 for the second consecutive day. Skyline Corp 4.50 -0.16 (-3.43%). Sun Communities, Inc. 43.76 -0.49 (-1.11%).
