Veteran MH Retailer Seeks Another Term on Council

The Dagger Press reports from Aberdeen, Maryland, that Bruce E. Garner will seek re-election to the Aberdeen City Council in the municipal election balloting in November. A 35-year veteran of the manufactured housing industry, Garner served ten years as general manager for a large manufactured home retailer in the northeast, responsible for eight retail centers in three states. He and his wife, Joanne, have owned and operated Bayside Homes, Ltd., in Havre de Grace, Maryland, over 25 years, selling manufactured and modular homes. A member of the board of directors of the Manufactured Housing Institute of Maryland for six years, Garner has served as president of the board the last two years. He is currently in his second term on the Harford County Building Code Board of Appeals. He also serves on the Parks and Recreation Board, as well as the Ripken Stadium Management Board.
