Tony – this will of course be interesting but the most immediate impact should be in the manner in which MH lending is regulated. While I wouldn’t expect an immediate relaxation of rules, the medium-term environment would certainly seem to look promising with regards to liquidity in the space. In our world (HECMs) we’re still waiting to see what happens but it would appear that mortgage bankers/brokers should get some relief – how much remains to be seen.
