MHProNews has learned from PR Newswire that New Jersey-based UMH Properties, Inc., has acquired City View manufactured housing community in Lewiston, Pennsylvania, for $750,000. The 59 home site community is situated on 22 acres in south central PA. Samuel A. Landy, President, stated, “We are pleased to announce the acquisition of this well-situated community. This community is in close proximity to two of our other communities and will fit in nicely with our existing Pennsylvania portfolio.” UMH now owns 40 manufactured home communities comprising 8,919 home sites in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and Tennessee. The 22nd annual Allen Report ranked UMH as the 25th largest LLC in North America.
