Sun Rises in NY for First Time

BizJournals informs MHProNews Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in New York’s Wyoming County has been acquired by Sun Communities, Inc. of Southfield, Mich. The 100-acre family camping resort, which includes cabins, tent and RV sites, has been owned and operated by Sue and Scott Crumpton since 2004, and has a variety of recreational venues. Sun plans to upgrade some facilities and add others for the property just east of Buffalo. While this is their first foray into New York, Sun owns 185 MH and RV communities in 25 states encompassing 67,380 developed sites. The sale price for the transaction was not immediately available.
