Stop Work Order Lifted by House Subcommittee

Updating a story MHProNews last reported Oct. 9, regarding the “stop work” order issued to the IBTS that may stop the shipments of manufactured homes due to the government shutdown, Vice President, Regulatory Affairs for the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) Lois Starkey reports the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) decree will be lifted Oct. 15. She says efforts by MHI and its members have evidently paid off, although if the shutdown continues to late October, the stop work order may be issued once again.
