AZJournal.com reports that Dale Call, the administrator of the Snowflake Arizona Planning and Zoning/Building Safety Department, made a presentation on a proposed overlay zone for manufactured homes at the Jan. 11 town council meeting. The report indicates the council has asked staff to research the feasibility of creating a new overlay zone which would allow the placement of manufactured homes in zoning districts that otherwise do not allow manufactured homes including areas around golf courses. At the meeting, Call said most of the property in town allows manufactured homes.
