Rezoning to Alleviate Nonconforming Situation for Manufactured Homes

From North Carolina, the Salisbury Post reports the City Council there will consider a large rezoning of approximately 43.6 acres from General Residential to Manufactured Home Development. According to a memo cited in the report, the rezoning alleviates a nonconforming situation for this residential area that is primarily developed with manufactured housing. The result would allow for stick-built houses and multi-section manufactured homes, but not single-section manufactured homes.
