Owners of Manufactured Home Community Honors Resident Students

logans_crossing_mhc_dallas_georgia__their_creditThe owners of Logan’s Crossing Manufactured Home Community in Dallas, Georgia, in conjunction with the Paulding Education Foundation, encourage excellence in attendance and achievement by offering awards to students who live in the community.

According to neighbornewpapers, Dr. and Mrs. Ron Cobb established the Logan’s Crossing MHC Fund with the awards level as follows: $50 to any resident student with perfect attendance in elementary school, and the same for any resident student with perfect attendance in middle school.

Award levels for high school include $100 for any student with perfect attendance, and $100 for any resident student who graduated high school with a diploma or GED. Any resident student who earned a B average for the entire year, qualifying for a HOPE Scholarship, receives $250. Resident students that receive a HOPE Scholarship from the state of Georgia receive $1,000 for each year they are in technical or college.

Recipients include Kyle Pinson, Dakota Pinson, Mohau Mbesa and Mohato Mbesa, perfect attendance; Kelly Pinson, Cynthia Stephens and Jessica Thompson, high school grade B average; Heather Smith and Jessica Thompson, high school graduation; Cassandra Jiles and Dax Ard, college HOPE Scholarship.

The foundation awarded 23 scholarships this year totaling over $34,000. MHProNews has learned Logan’s Crossing is just northwest of Atlanta. ##
