The Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO) is offering a free Manufactured Home Weatherization Program to its residential natural gas and electric customers residing in a manufactured home. For better comfort and smaller energy bills, the upgrades a representatives can install include programmable thermostats, showerheads, faucet aerators, duct sealing, CFL lightbulbs and other energy-saving items.

Tom Fath at New Durham Estates in Westville, IN tells MHProNews that perhaps half of their residents have already taken advantage of the program.

The program runs through Dec. 15, 2015. Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, and will continue as long as funding is available. ##
