New Owner of MHC’s Making Improvements

Roger Bull’s Sunday Notebook in jacksonville reports the sale of two manufactured housing communities in Jacksonville, Florida to Rufus & Roxy LLC of Bainbridge Island, Washington. An extensive Google search led to the owner, Scott Fallows, who bought Sunny Oaks North Mobile Home Park and Briarwood Mobile Home Estates, which will be renamed Sunny Oaks South, when they were in default and is turning them around. together they comprise Sunny Oaks Communities.  In a conversation with MHProNews, Mr. Fallows said the two MHCs were in a “troubled state” when he purchased them with only a 15% occupancy of a total of 124 sites, and he has managed to upgrade them and rid them of a criminal element. Occupancy has increased to 30%, and he expects that number to increase to 85% within two years.
