Modular Hotel Planned in Western North Dakota

An 80-acre commercial and residential development a half-mile from Killdeer, North Dakota will include two apartment buildings and a modular hotel, all in response to nearby oil drilling in the Bakken field. The $3.9 million hotel will sport 60 rooms aimed at electricians and plumbers who are engaged in short-term oil and gas-related work, but will also offer contract rates for workers staying for extended periods, according to Developer Robert Andrew tells MHProNews the modular project may be completed by Jan. 2014.
