Modular Homes Part of Large Subdivision in Canada

The Estevan Mercury says a new subdivision being planned to meet the housing needs of Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada, will have a mix of conventional and modular homes in various styles.  Located just north of the North Dakota line, the initial phase of the Meadows of Estevan calls for 100 home sites to be ready by the fall.  Newport Developments says many of the homes will be upper level, but there will be some more affordable homes, as well as a number of rental units.  The initial homes will be ranch-style four-plexes.  The city must still approve the plans, but Newport General Manager Jeff Werhun says discussions are going well.
