Modular Homes Owner Faces Theft Charges

The owner of Wyoming Homes in Moosic, Pennsylvania has been charged with theft for allegedly receiving down payments for modular homes and neither delivering the goods nor returning the money. According to citizensvoice.com, David Valenti has been charged by Luzerne County detectives in their criminal complaint with two counts of theft by deception. Valenti is said to owe one victim $11,300 and $6,415 to another. He was released after appearing before a magisterial district judge on $25,000 unsecured bail. MHPronews.com has learned independently, according to timesleader.com, in Feb. 2013 Valenti was charged with theft by deception for similarly accepting money for a modular home, and also for forging two checks. It could not immediately be determined the disposition of the earlier charges. ##
