Modular Classrooms Relieving Crowding in Virginia

The Culpeper County Public Schools (CCPS) in Virginia are expecting another surge in student enrollment in the coming years, based on housing developments that have been approved, especially in the city of Culpeper. Farmington Elementary had the highest growth rate at 9.1 percent a year, and Culpeper Middle is the fastest growing secondary school in the district. Farmington recently received four modular classrooms which should help relieve crowded conditions until a new middle school is built, and an existing building is converted to an elementary school. Currently, as dailyprogress.com informs MHProNews, elementary schools are operating at 93.4 percent capacity and middle schools are at 95.4 percent. ##
