As Hurricane Matthew is heading on a projected track that will impact large parts of Florida, coastal Georgia and the Carolinas, public officials are forewarning that power outages will impact millions.

MHProNews and MHLivingNews is headquartered in Lakeland, FL – which is among the areas that could be impacted.  While the websites should remain unaffected, publishing new articles during an outage may not be possible.

Some new Daily Business News articles have been scheduled in advance for Friday and Saturday morning.

As a programming note, the theme for our 7th Anniversary issue fits the looming weather challenges – “Obstacles and Opportunities in Affordable Housing – October 2016.” Dozens of reports and articles – a record number – are published on the home page.

Our prayers and best wishes to all those who have already suffered from Matthew in Haiti, and for those here in the U.S. that will soon face this storm.

Our thanks to all those who have checked in and wished us well via phone, text and email.  If we do lose power, we’ll look forward to rejoining you as soon as possible, in this great factory-crafted housing trade media adventure of  spotlighting the solutions to housing millions of Americans in comfort, style, savings and dignity.  ##
