America’s strength is based upon our right to participate in government – the democratic process – and relies upon the people who exercise that right.
When we vote, we are not only making our own voice heard but also contributing to the strength of our nation. It is a right and a responsibility that generations of Americans have sacrificed for and it is one we should take seriously.
On November 2nd, we will elect a new Congress, new Governors, legislatures and other state and local officials. Every one of those races will shape the future of our businesses, our communities and our country.
So this year, we are encouraging all the members of the MHI family to take part in their local elections. Who you choose to vote for is entirely up to you – but it is important that we all make the choice to take the time to participate in the political process by voting on November 2nd.
